The DD-670 is packed with features that make this drum set a true workhorse on stage and in the rehearsal room: a two-piece hi-hat pad on a real hi-hat stand, a ride pad with 3 zones, top-notch sounds, and 6 faders for easy and fast selection of key parameters. To top it all off, all mesh pads feature real wooden shells and are mounted on their own stands. Drum Pads with Double-Layer Mesh Heads
If you expect realistic rebound from an e-drum, mesh heads are simply a must. All drum pads are equipped with double-layer mesh heads, which are completely quiet and allow precise triggering. Since the heads can be "tuned" with a key, each pad feels like an acoustic drum. Except for the kick pad, all pads naturally have both head and rim triggers for two different sounds per pad.
