Ready for the Stage!
The DD-670 comes packed with features that make this drum set a true workhorse on stage and in the rehearsal room: a two-piece hi-hat pad on a real hi-hat stand, a ride pad with 3 zones, premium sounds and 6 faders for easy and fast selection of key parameters. To crown it all, all mesh pads feature real wooden shells and are mounted on individual stands. The difference to an "acoustic" drum kit is then (almost) only noticeable in the uncomplicated, easily controllable and always perfect sound. It rocks!
Drum Pads with Double-Layer Mesh Heads
If you expect realistic rebound from an e-drum, you simply can’t go without mesh heads. All drum pads are equipped with double-layer mesh heads, which are absolutely quiet and allow precise triggering. Since the heads can be "tuned" with a key, each pad feels like an acoustic drum. Except for the kick pad, all pads naturally have both a head and a rim trigger for two different sounds per pad.
All Pads Made of Wood!
A real highlight: all drum pads have a genuine wooden shell and are mounted on individual stands. This provides familiar handling like the acoustic original. Additionally, this setup prevents crosstalk to other pads. You immediately feel "at home".
The entire setup is not only very flexible to assemble, but also visually impressive on stage. The kick pad naturally also has a wooden shell and offers not only an absolutely realistic playing feel, but the 20" large mesh head also easily accommodates a double bass pedal.
Top-Quality Cymbal Pads
Ready to work with: the hi-hat pad consists of two parts and can be mounted on any common hi-hat stand. While the crash pads feature two freely assignable zones, the ride pad even comes with its own bell trigger. Naturally, crash and ride pads can be choked by hand.
First-Class Sounds and Many Options
The heart of the drum set—the module—offers 720 high-quality sounds with multisampling technology. From rock to pop to ethnic and electronic, you can create 20 custom drum sets, with every pad freely assignable and each individual sound finely adjustable in volume, panorama, pitch and reverb.
Particularly practical are the user-friendly faders, which allow very quick adjustments. For example, you can balance the volume ratios of the individual instrument groups or control the global effects (reverb, compressor and equalizer). Especially in live use, a feature you won’t want to miss.
Includes Hardware
A hi-hat stand and 3 boom stands provide an absolutely individual setup. Even in tight spaces, there’s always a way to position all pads perfectly.
Expandable Anytime
The DD-670 also offers an additional trigger input, allowing configurations with 3 crashes, for example. Or you can simply assign effect sounds to a pad or use 4 toms or...
This stool features a round seat in leather look and stands on three non-slip rubber feet. It can be comfortably height-adjusted via the robust precision spindle.
With the removable seat and foldable legs, this seat is quick and easy to transport. Thanks to its double-braced legs, it also withstands tough demands and offers uncompromisingly secure footing.
Headphones
The KDJ-1000 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume yet clean and precise stereo imaging. Thanks to the low impedance, the KDJ-1000 can also handle extreme volumes on low-signal inputs.
Of course, the softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable. The entire headphone folds up for space-saving storage. For mixing desk work, the comfortable ear cups can also rotate 180° for classic "single ear monitoring." The thick, soft padding of the over-ear cups additionally provides good external noise isolation.
The headphones feature a long coiled cable that extends to over 3.5 m, allowing even the most active DJ to move freely behind the decks. The 3.5 mm stereo jack plug is gold-plated for improved transmission, and a 6.3 mm stereo jack adapter is also included. Additionally, the headphones come with a practical storage pouch.
Drum School
The "Beginner" school from drumfreaks.de in the Kirstein edition covers the essential basics of drumming. It starts with the correct stick grip and ends with the first real grooves. Extensive videos accompany you on your path to becoming a drummer.
Drumsticks
The XDrum sticks offer pleasant playability and excellent sound characteristics at an incredible price. Their grippy surface prevents annoying slipping, while the extra-hard wood ensures long durability.
So get out of the rehearsal room and let the show begin!

The playing on this drum kit is very realistic.
It really makes very little noise.
I can even play on it at night without disturbing the neighbors.
To be sure, I put the set on a stage with tennis balls underneath to suppress any pedaling noise.
Really a top drum set!

Makes really fun and is really recommendable for all hobby drummers where it should not be too loud.

The only flaw in the Charleston sometimes lost a few strokes, solved with a control unit reset.
By the way, delivery arrived a few days earlier than expected.
I recommend it even to the most demanding!
Questions about product
Question by Antonio Fracasso on 24.09.2020
How many elements can be added to the form
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
It is possible to add another tompad to this battery. You can find this fourth tompad at the following link: https://www.kirstein.de/E-Drum-Module-und-Pads/XDrum-DD-670-Add-On-Set.html
Question by Lennard Wiswede on 11.05.2020
How loud is the drum kit especially the Stammtom unplugged?
MfG
Lennard
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
In general, the drum kit is not much louder than, for example, a Roland V-Drum.
Question by George on 14.02.2020
Hello,
is there a possibility to buy a double bass pedal?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Here you can find our double foot machines: https://www.kirstein.de/Doppelfussmaschine/
Question by Clemens on 31.10.2019
Can you also record the song that is playing through the connected cell phone?
How loud is the basedrum with kettle? Is the set still suitable for apartment?
Thank you!
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Unfortunately, the song does not work because the module cannot record audio tracks. The volume of the pads is comparable to any other e-drum, the shells have no influence on it.
Question by Corona on 28.10.2019
Good morning;
I would like to know if the product is'equipped with user manual in Italian language.
Thank you
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Unfortunately, there are no assembly instructions in Italian. Only instructions in German or English are included.
Question by José MaríaMassanet on 08.10.2019
Is it possible to buy this set with a more modern module, type alesis Pro KIT?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The Alesis Strike module is not compatible to the DD-670, because the DD-670 module has an input for a wiring harness, while the Alesis Strike module has inputs for each component.
Question by Franek on 23.07.2019
Is the set compatible with the Roland TD 17 module? Teiggert the hihat via the module or do you need one from Roland ?VG
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The Roland TD-17 module is unfortunately not compatible with the XDrum DD-670. To upgrade the sound of the XDrum DD-670, this would be possible via a PC with a program, such as "Modern Drummer" from Native Instruments.
