We bought the mat together with the TD 17 for our son's room and are very satisfied. The sound down is muffled enough not to disturb the neighbors and the mat does not emit unpleasant odors.
Was exactly the right choice.

Some reviews on the Internet, which I had read before the purchase, complained about too little thickness of the carpet, so I had my doubts whether the carpet was robust enough. However, since I found no better alternative (the options from the hardware store etc have not convinced me), I ordered it anyway. The doubts were unfounded - the drum carpet is sufficiently thick. The previously despite anti-slip mat constantly wandering on the floor foot machine finally no longer moves. The carpet does not stink, feels good and the drum corner now looks really good.

Sufficiently dimensioned, lies firmly on the floor and does not emit unpleasant odors.
