The VMH-D1 is the result of the first collaboration between the Roland V-Drums team and V-MODA, a leading manufacturer of headphones for DJs and electronic musicians.

Through many development stages, a special product emerged that combines 50 mm drivers with selected materials and new assembly methods to precisely reproduce the intense transients, wide frequency range, and rich overtones of an electronic drumset.

Enhanced Comfort

The VMH-D1 impresses with its padded headband and large memory foam ear pads, offering maximum comfort even after hours of wear. Besides their comfortable fit, the ear pads provide excellent isolation from acoustic pad noises and other external distractions.

The soft and elegant synthetic leather covering absorbs moisture and prevents the headphones from slipping during sweaty sessions.

Drumming Without Cable Tangles

Regular headphones keep you tethered by their short cables, which always seem to get in the way. This often causes the headphones to shift or even get pulled off your head during intense playing. The extra-long cable of the VMH-D1 (3 m) easily connects to your module and stays out of the way of your arms and legs while playing.

Additionally, the headphones feature a cable holder on the back, allowing you to route the cable behind your neck and safely lay it on the floor behind your drum throne.

Additional Details

The VMH-D1 comes with an accessory hanger to neatly and securely store the headphones after playing. The sturdy plastic holder has a non-slip urethane surface and can be attached to drum and cymbal stands with various tube diameters. Plus, the distinctive red "R" on the right ear cup always helps you quickly find the correct orientation when it’s time to play again.

Fullrange Flexibility

Although the VMH-D1 is specially tuned for drums, its fullrange playback also impresses when listening to music. Experience hi-fi sound while jamming to your favorite songs, playing along with backing tracks, and recording in your DAW. For regular music listening, a shorter 1.5 m cable and a carrying pouch for protected transport are also included.
