The DD-670 comes with many features that make this drum set a real workhorse on stage and in the rehearsal room: a two-piece hi-hat pad on a real hi-hat machine, a ride pad with 3 zones, first-class sounds and 6 faders for easy and fast selection of important parameters. To top it off, all mesh pads are made real wooden kettles and are mounted on their own stands. The only difference from "real" drums you'll notice is how uncomplicated, easily controllable and always perfect you sound it. Get playing!
Drum pads with mesh heads
A real highlight: all drum pads have a real kettle made of real wood and are all mounted on their own stands. All drum pads are equipped with double-layered mesh heads, which allow for absolutely quiet and accurate triggering. Of course, in addition to the kick pad, all pads have one head and one edge trigger for two different sounds per pad.
Cymbal pads at their finest
You can work with it: the hi-hat pad has two parts and can be mounted on any standard hi-hat stand. The crash pads have two freely assignable zones, and the ride pad comes with its own bell trigger.

The ordering process and the delivery were 1a. No problems and super fast - after 48 hours I could immediately start with the construction. This took a good 3 hours until everything was in place. Simply connect toms and cymbals via the cable whip and the sound module could be switched on.
The playing feeling is close to an acoustic drum kit. Also the sound can be heard. Unfortunately I don't have any e-drums of the elite class for comparison, but the samples that the xDrumSet brings along are completely sufficient for my private fun.
Now for some drum lessons to get the dynamics and speed back.
With the xDrumSet I have a wonderful foundation to tackle this now.

The quality of the individual components is very good in this price range. It feels like a real analog drumset. The operation of the sound module is OK. The menus take some getting used to, you kind of step through, hoping you find what you're looking for. The manual is rather poor, there could be more effort. The set sounds very good over headphones. I couldn't get a decent sound with the monitor, even though I played through an upstream mixer.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to load songs onto the module. But you can connect your cell phone, Mp3, etc. via AUX-In and play to it.
