Ready for the Stage!
The DD-670 PLUS is packed with features that make this drum set a true workhorse on stage and in the rehearsal room: a two-piece HiHat pad on a real HiHat stand, a ride pad with 3 zones, top-notch sounds, and 6 faders for easy and fast access to key parameters. To crown it all, all mesh pads feature real wooden shells and are mounted on individual stands. The difference to a "real" drum kit is then (almost) only noticeable in the uncomplicated, easily controllable, and always perfect sound. It just works!
Drum Pads with Double-Layer Mesh Heads
If you expect realistic rebound from an e-drum, mesh heads are simply essential. All drum pads are equipped with double-layer mesh heads that are completely quiet and allow precise triggering. Since the heads can be "tuned" with a key, every pad feels like an acoustic drum. Except for the kick pad, all pads naturally have both head and rim triggers for two different sounds per pad.
All Pads Made of Wood!
A real highlight: all drum pads have genuine wooden shells and are mounted on their own stands. This provides the familiar handling of an acoustic drum. Additionally, this design prevents crosstalk between pads. You immediately feel "at home."
The entire setup is not only very flexible to arrange, but visually this full-sized drum set also makes a strong impression on stage. The kick pad naturally also has a wooden shell and offers not only an absolutely realistic playing feel, but the 20" large mesh head also easily accommodates a double kick pedal.
Top-Quality Cymbal Pads
This is serious gear: the HiHat pad consists of two parts and can be mounted on any common HiHat stand. While the crash pads feature two freely assignable zones, the ride pad even comes with its own bell trigger. Naturally, crash and ride pads can be choked by hand.
First-Class Sounds and Plenty of Options
The heart of the drum set—the module—offers 720 high-quality sounds with multisampling technology. From rock and pop to ethnic and electronic, 20 custom drum sets can be created, with every pad freely assignable and each sound finely adjustable in volume, panorama, pitch, and reverb.
Particularly practical are the user-friendly faders, which allow very fast adjustments. For example, you can balance the volume ratios of individual instrument groups or control global effects (reverb, compressor, and equalizer). Especially in live use, this is a feature you won’t want to miss.
Including Hardware
A HiHat stand and 3 boom stands allow for a completely individual setup. Even in tight spaces, there’s always a way to position all pads perfectly.
So get out of the rehearsal room and let the show begin!

I was very happy to be able to send my package this way!
You should learn to read and write the addresses of customers correctly and especially to send with a sticker on the package with the name and address of the customer.
I do not say thank you!
I saved the situation because the hardware is great, very playable and the settings are a bit complicated at first.
Questions about product
Question by Hendrik on 13.12.2021
Hello, Is the drum kit as quiet as other standard e-drums with meshheads e.g. Alesis Nitro etc. or is it louder due to the wooden body? Especially with regard to the kick pad ?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Due to the mesh heads, the DD-670 is just as quiet as an electric drum with mesh pads, the kickpad is only marginally louder.
Question by Oliver Bohnerth on 08.11.2021
The Ride and the Hi Hat are not compatible with other modules. Are there replacement cymbals to buy if they should ever break? Especially with the Hi Hat it seems to come back from time to time to problems. LG
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
XDrum is our house brand and therefore we are also very well positioned in terms of spare parts. So if a cymbal pad breaks during the warranty period, we can provide a replacement very quickly.
Question by Valeria on 01.09.2021
I would like to connect the drums to the computer to record tracks with audacity. I use a USB cable but the program doesn't see the drum input. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to install drivers or have an external sound card?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The PC automatically recognizes the'Edrum. External drivers are not needed
Question by Fran Rodas on 07.08.2021
Does it make less noise than rubber pads?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The noise level is the same for both.
Question by Michel MULLER on 30.07.2021
Is the XDrum DD-670 PLUS compatible with a roland module
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The snare, toms, bass drum and crash pads are compatible with other modules, the hihat and ride unfortunately are not.
Question by Antonio Quaresima on 08.06.2021
Is the drum kit compatible with the Alesis strike pro controller? I would need it to import samples. Percussive without having to use the computer with wst all the time. Thank you.
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Unfortunately, the'XDrum DD-670 is not compatible with the Alesis Strike Pro module.
Question by nelson on 25.05.2021

Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The DD 670 is produced in China.
Question by Manuel Santiago on 26.04.2021
Hello.
Is it possible to buy this set without chainrings and module?
I have a roland td 27. The toms are compatible with this module.
Thank you!
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Unfortunately we only sell the DD 670 as a set.
Question by Roberto on 14.01.2021
An external music player (e.g., smartphone or ipod) can be connected via a usb port
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The USB port does not allow you to connect an external audio source. You can connect an external audio source via the "LINE IN". A 3.5 mm jack cable is required for this purpose.
Question by assouline on 20.10.2020
Are the drum pads and cymbal pads compatible with Roland sound modules? Which ones in particular?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Unfortunately, the DD-670 is not compatible with Roland.
Question by Ricardo on 22.09.2020
How loud is the drum kit acoustically in a room? Is there even a realistic way to use this product in an apartment without disturbing the neighbors?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The DD-670 drum kit is much quieter than an acoustic drum kit. Therefore, it is perfect for an apartment with neighbors who should not be disturbed.
Question by Enrico on 25.08.2020
Good morning,
Could you please tell me the overall dimensions for this set (DD-670 Plus)?
Thank you very much!
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The battery has the following dimensions: width approx. 180 cm, depth approx. 120 cm (without stool), height approx. 110 cm.
Question by Tiemen on 25.08.2020
Hi, how 'easy' does this module work with external hardware (midi for recording example).
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Basically the use of this drum kit is very easy with a MIDI connection. There are two ways to connect your e-drum to a PC/laptop via MIDI:
1. the connection via USB cable (A to B)
2. the connection via MIDI cable.
The simplest and most common way to connect to your computer is via USB cable, as you do not need a separate driver or interface. Just plug one end into the drum module and the other end into a USB port on your laptop/PC. Once the cable connection is made, the e-drum is MIDI-capable and you can play sounds and settings with the drum module in any MIDI software. Of course, you have to assign the MIDI input device, in this case the drum kit, in the software.
Question by Giuliano on 19.08.2020
Hi, can i add another crash to this set? If the answer will be a yes, what crash should be compatible?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
No other cymbal pad can be connected to this sound module, because all external inputs are occupied by Crash2 and Tom4. As an alternative, a second drum module such as the Roland TM-2 can be connected. Two stereo inputs or four mono inputs are available here.
Question by JONAH on 30.07.2020
Hi, is this drumset support the duble bass pedal?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
This drumkit is compatible with a double bassdrum pedal.
