XDrum singing bowls are crafted in India through a complex process. While in the Himalayas they were originally used mainly as cooking and eating vessels, Buddhist monks discovered singing bowls as meditation aids and gave them a whole new purpose.

Handmade Unique Pieces

XDrum singing bowls are made with painstaking handcrafting from 7 materials. This alloy consists of copper, zinc, iron, nickel, aluminum, silver, and gold. The exact composition may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. To achieve the final shape and individual sound, the alloy is hammered over a fire into the desired form. It is often heated and cooled up to 30 times.

Unlike machine-made singing bowls, XDrum’s handmade models are unique pieces. Some tolerance in diameter and weight is normal and does not indicate any loss of quality.

Handling
