XDrum singing bowls are crafted in India using a labor-intensive process. While they were traditionally used in the Himalayas mainly as cooking and eating vessels, Buddhist monks discovered the bowls as aids to meditation and gave them a whole new purpose.

XDrum singing bowls are produced by painstaking handcrafting from seven materials. This alloy consists of the metals copper, zinc, iron, nickel, aluminum, silver and gold. The exact composition can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. To achieve the final shape and the individual tone, the alloy is hammered into the desired form over a fire, often being heated and cooled up to 30 times.

Unlike machine-made bowls, XDrum's handcrafted models are unique one-of-a-kind pieces. A certain tolerance in the bowl's diameter and weight is entirely normal and does not indicate a reduction in quality.

How to Use
