Velocity-Sensitive Pads
Like an acoustic drum kit, the digital drum set responds to different playing techniques and the drummer’s hit velocity. All pads on the DD-530 are velocity-sensitive. Both the ride and crash cymbals have a "cymbal choke" function: you can stop the sound immediately after striking by hand.
Mesh Heads
The special woven heads are ideal for E-Drums and offer an extremely authentic response. Compared to conventional rubber pads, mesh heads deliver an unparalleled playing feel and realistic rebound. The trigger signal is optimally transmitted to the sound module, ensuring nuanced, accented playing. The XDrum DD-530 provides two 8-inch and two 10-inch drum pads with mesh heads.
Drumkits and Drum Sounds

I'm a newbie to drums, although I've been playing on a "natural set" from Pearl for over a year. Playing together with friends in my basement didn't work very well because of the volume. So I had to get an electric drum and decided to buy a used Roland TD 1 KV. I was completely enthusiastic and wanted more. So I sold the Roland again and?
A new Roland was out of the question, unfortunately much too expensive. Used the demanded prices are unfortunately also completely spoiled. Thus times the large Internet search started. Result: I found the XDrum DD-530 at Kirstein.
Test results, reviews and price were all damn good and then still 60 days money back. You can't go wrong. I ordered it right away.
After four days it arrived, I immediately set it up and off to the Yamaha PA.
Now after more than two months and every day at least an hour of practice, I'm still thrilled.
No failures, no signs of wear, the module does its job and sounds after some settings, to my sensation, also very good.
I can only recommend it, it does not always have to be the Mercedes as a hobby device.
Yesterday I ordered the add-on, so another Tom and a basin.
There is a small deduction but then with the basins. They could be a little more sensitive.
Conclusion: I have a good feeling with and on the E-Drum and would buy it again.

Hello, have bought me as a complete beginner this beautiful part. However, I still have the problem that I do not get the ride and crash tank stopped.

To connect the e-drum to a PC/laptop via MIDI, there are two ways: the connection via USB cable (A to B) or the connection via MIDI cable. The easiest and most common way for home use is the connection via USB cable, because you don't need a separate driver or interface. To do this, plug one end into the drum module and the other end into a USB input of the laptop/PC. After establishing the cable connection, the e-drum is MIDI-enabled and you can play tones and settings with the drum kit in any MIDI software (in your case Garageband). Of course you still have to assign in the software which is the MIDI input device, in this case the drum kit. Each component of the drum kit can be displayed individually in the DAW. To do this, you have to set the same midi note in the settings of the DAW and the sound module and turn off the local samples stored on the module.
