Velocity-Sensitive Pads
Like an acoustic drum kit, the electronic drum kit responds to different playing techniques and the drummer's strike intensity. All pads on the DD-530 are velocity-sensitive. Both the ride and the crash cymbal have a "cymbal choke" function: you can stop the sound immediately with your hand after striking.
Mesh Heads
The special woven heads are ideal for e-drums and offer an extremely authentic response. Compared to conventional rubber pads, mesh heads deliver an unparalleled playing feel and a realistic rebound. The trigger signal is transmitted optimally to the sound module and allows for nuanced, articulated playing. On the XDrum DD-530 you have two 8-inch and two 10-inch drum pads with mesh heads available.
Drum Kits and Drum Sounds
Via the kit menu you can choose from 45 drum kits to play via the pads. You can change individual sounds as well as pitch, volume, reverb, etc. 400 drum sounds, categorized into groups such as acoustic snare, electronic snare, percussion and more, guarantee maximum variety.
Learning Mode
In learning mode you can practice snare and drum beats with or without accompaniment. You have the option to record your practice sessions and have them evaluated, and to play back your recorded sessions. All practice units are specifically designed to train your speed, precision and endurance and to support you in developing your drumming skills.
