Velocity-Sensitive Pads
Like an acoustic drum kit, the digital drums respond to different playing techniques and the drummer’s strike intensity. All DD-530 pads are velocity-sensitive. Both the ride and crash cymbals feature a "cymbal choke" function: you can stop the sound immediately after striking by hand.
Mesh Heads
The special woven heads are ideal for e-drums and offer an extremely authentic response. Compared to conventional rubber pads, mesh heads provide an unmatched playing feel and realistic rebound. Two questions
1.) I am left-handed - is it a problem (cable tangle etc.) to build up the whole set simply mirror-inverted?
2) Is there a possibility to use the highhat pedal as a second bass pedal? Or if that does not work, which additional pedal is best suited for a double bass use here?

The drum kit can be set up mirror-inverted without any problems.
The hi-hat foot controller can be assigned with a bass drum sound, but alternatively any double foot machine can be used on the XDrum DD-530.
