With the integrated USB MP3 recorder, recordings can be made directly to a USB stick. The clever part: all signals (vocals, keyboard playing, and any external audio sources) are saved in a stereo MP3 file. Transpose Function

To always stay in time, the UP-1 features an integrated metronome, which, besides displaying beats per minute, also shows Italian tempo markings (Adagio, Andante, Allegro, etc.). The tempo can be continuously adjusted via a rotary knob. Two headphone outputs allow for undisturbed playing in the evening or at night, in situations where you don’t want to be disturbed.

Like a grand piano, the UP-1 offers 3 pedals to influence sound and dynamics. The soft pedal, played with the left foot, the sostenuto pedal, and the damper pedal, which lets notes decay. The sostenuto pedal sustains already played notes longer. The soft pedal creates a softer sound.

HiFi Speaker System With Preset EQ

For powerful sound, the UP-1 features a built-in stereo hi-fi speaker system, which can be adjusted to your needs via the integrated equalizer with 6 presets.

Especially the arrangement of the 4 speakers enables excellent sound: The two bass speakers are mounted at the bottom of the playing table. From here, they radiate sound downward, with the sound reflected from the floor creating a very natural room sound. As a real highlight in this price range, the two speakers for the high tones radiate directly towards the pianist. This special arrangement results in an extremely nuanced sound image with full character. The USB and AUX inputs also make playback of external sound sources a delight.

OLED Display

The clearly readable OLED display ensures the best overview in every playing situation and shows, besides the selected sound, the metronome tempo, the selected time signature, and other useful information.
