With the integrated USB MP3 recorder, recordings can be made directly to a USB stick. The clever part: all signals (vocals, keyboard playing, and any external audio sources) are saved in a stereo MP3 file. Like a grand piano, the UP-1 offers 3 pedals to influence sound and dynamics. The soft pedal, played with the left foot, the sostenuto pedal, and the damper pedal, which lets notes ring out. The sostenuto pedal sustains already played notes longer. The soft pedal creates a softer sound.

HiFi Speaker System with Preset EQ

For powerful sound, the UP-1 features a built-in stereo hi-fi speaker system, which can be adjusted to your needs via the integrated equalizer with 6 presets.

The arrangement of the 4 speakers especially allows excellent sound: The two bass speakers are mounted on the underside of the playing table. They project sound downward, with the floor-reflected sound creating a very natural room ambiance. As a real highlight in this price range, the two tweeters direct high frequencies straight toward the pianist. This special arrangement results in an extremely nuanced sound with full character. The USB and AUX inputs also make playback of external sound sources a delight.

OLED Display

The clearly readable OLED display ensures the best overview in every playing situation and shows the selected sound, metronome tempo, time signature, and other useful information.
