With the 12220 lamp, Classic Cantabile takes a new path and now offers a model with a stepless dimmer for the first time. Besides the broad illumination and flexible goose neck, the built-in USB port is an additional useful feature.
Easy Handling
Thanks to the heavy base, the lamp stands firmly anywhere – whether on the piano, on a table, or as a reading lamp in the living room. The total of 36 warm-white LEDs (2 rows of 18 each) optimally illuminate even multi-page sheet music. The easily accessible rotary control adjusts the required light level to the local conditions.
Flexible Goose Neck
The lamp’s neck can be bent and rotated in any desired direction. With a length of 38 cm, the lamp offers a huge range of motion, ensuring maximum flexibility.

I use the light on a Yamaha electric piano. I find it perfect there. It stands behind the music stand and illuminates the sheet music well in A4 landscape format.
I can't say whether the light also illuminates the notes so well on a higher acoustic piano.

The foot is a little too light when the lamp is bent forward. I have solved this with a small clamp behind the piano. Now even my cat can not do any damage.
