Classic Cantabile UP-1 OM Upright E-Piano Okoume

Elegant Design Meets Exquisite Sound and Extensive Features!

Given its feature set and the high-quality keyboard, the UP-1 from Classic Cantabile is unquestionably a premium-class digital piano. At the same time it sits in a price range that makes the instrument interesting for ambitious beginners as well. That makes the attractive UP-1 a true digital piano revolution!

40 High-Quality Sounds with Multisampling

With a total of 40 sounds, all of which feature multisampling, the demanding pianist has a wide selection of tones to experiment with different timbres. From piano to strings to organ and harpsichord: the UP-1 inspires your creativity with its possibilities. Thanks to multisampling technology, where each piano key uses several different samples, the UP-1 upright piano sets new standards in piano sound.

Weighted Hammer Action Keyboard with Let-Off Simulation and Synthetic Ivory Surface

The weighted keyboard, let-off simulation and 3-sensor detection of the UP-1 authentically reproduce the playing feel of an acoustic piano. The Ivory-Touch surface of the keys also provides an exceptionally high-quality tactile feel. Thanks to the touch dynamics, the digital piano can be played like a traditional upright or a grand piano. The keyboard's dynamics can be adjusted in 5 steps via the Touch Response function.

256-Note Polyphony

The UP-1 can reproduce up to 256 notes simultaneously, enabling pieces from a wide range of genres (classical, rock, pop, etc.) to be played with stereo sound while using multiple voices at once.

USB-to-Host Compatible with Common Piano Apps

The USB-to-Host output is used to connect the UP-1 to computer, tablet and laptop. Via the common app stores you can pair the UP-1 with popular piano apps like Flowkey, Skoove or Simply Piano. Beginners especially benefit from the learning opportunities; there are also many recording apps available. The UP-1 is not only compatible with Android apps but can also be connected comfortably to iPad and iPhone.

Damper Resonance

The UP-1's damper resonance function reliably simulates the inner workings of an acoustic piano. This way every pedaled key press sounds with the appropriate natural resonance.

22 Built-In Effects

To further refine the piano sound, the digital piano offers a total of 22 effects (10 reverb effects, 12 chorus effects). That way you can always find the right sound for the desired mood.

Layer and Split Functions

With the "Layer" and "Split" functions you can comfortably stack two sounds and combine them. This lets you create impressive sonic landscapes. The split function divides the keyboard so that, for example, strings can sound on the left hand while piano sounds play on the right. The volume of each side can be adjusted independently.

Twinova Function

The Twinova function was created for teachers and students, allowing the keyboard and pedals to be split into two halves. This creates two independent keyboards ideal for demanding piano lessons or practice sessions at home. The pedals can also be assigned separately to left and right. So you can play as if on two separate pianos using a single instrument!

Wide Connectivity with USB MP3 Player & Recorder

Another revolution is the wide connectivity and the built-in MP3 recorder of the UP-1. The 6.3 mm jack microphone/AUX input also makes the piano attractive for entertainers. With the integrated USB MP3 recorder you can make recordings directly to a USB stick. The trick: all signals (voice, key press and any external audio sources) are stored in one stereo MP3 file. If the built-in hi-fi speakers do not meet your requirements, the stereo AUX output allows connection to a PA system or active speakers.

Transpose Function

The transpose function lets you shift the instrument in semitone steps. This allows optimal adjustment to different musical settings, tunings and ensembles.

Metronome and Headphone Jacks

To always stay in time, the UP-1 features an integrated metronome that, in addition to displaying beats per minute, offers Italian tempo markings (Adagio, Andante, Allegro, etc.). The tempo can be adjusted continuously via a rotary control. Two headphone jacks ensure unobtrusive playing in the evening or at night when you don’t want to disturb others.

3 Pedals for Maximum Dynamics

Like a grand piano, the UP-1 provides 3 pedals that influence tone and dynamics. The soft pedal, played with the left foot, the sostenuto pedal and the damper pedal, which lets notes decay. The sostenuto pedal sustains notes that were already played. The soft pedal produces a gentler tone.

HiFi Speaker System with Preset EQ

For a powerful sound the UP-1 features a built-in stereo hi-fi speaker system, which can be adjusted to your needs via the integrated equalizer with 6 presets.

Above all, the arrangement of the 4 speakers enables excellent sound:

The two bass speakers are mounted on the underside of the music desk. From there they radiate sound downward, with the sound reflected from the floor creating a very natural room sound. As a real special feature in this price range, the two speakers for the high tones are directed straight at the pianist. This special arrangement results in an extremely nuanced sound with full character. The USB and AUX inputs also make playback of external sound sources a delight.
