Classic Cantabile UP-1 OM Upright E-Piano Okoume Deluxe Set

Elegant Design Meets Exquisite Sound and Extensive Features!

The UP-1 from Classic Cantabile is, given its feature set and high-quality keyboard, indisputably a premium digital piano. At the same time it sits in a price range that makes the instrument interesting even for ambitious beginners. That makes the attractive UP-1 a true digital-piano revolution!

40 High-Quality Sounds with Multisampling

With a total of 40 sounds, all featuring multisampling, the discerning pianist has a wide palette to experiment with different timbres. From piano through string instruments to organ and harpsichord: the UP-1 fuels your creativity with its possibilities. Thanks to multisampling technology, where each piano key includes several different samples, the UP-1 upright piano sets new standards in piano sound.

Weighted Hammer Action with Let-Off Simulation and Ivory-Touch Surface

The weighted keyboard, let-off simulation and triple-sensor system of the UP-1 authentically replicate the playing feel of an acoustic piano. The Ivory-Touch surface on the keys provides an incredibly high-quality tactile response. Thanks to its touch dynamics, the digital piano can be played like an acoustic piano or a concert grand. The keyboard's dynamic response can be adjusted in five stages via the touch-response function.

256-Note Polyphony

The UP-1 can reproduce up to 256 notes simultaneously, which allows you to play pieces from a wide range of genres (classical, rock, pop, etc.) with stereo sound and multiple voices active at the same time.

USB-to-Host Compatible with Popular Piano Apps

The USB-to-Host output lets you connect the UP-1 to computers, tablets and laptops. Through the common app stores you can pair the UP-1 with popular piano apps like Flowkey, Skoove or Simply Piano. Beginners especially benefit from the learning features; in addition there is a wide selection of recording apps. The UP-1 is not only compatible with Android apps, it also connects comfortably to iPad and iPhone.

Damper Resonance

The UP-1's damper resonance function reliably simulates the internal behavior of an acoustic piano. That way every pedaled key strike sounds with its natural resonance.

22 Built-in Effects

To further refine the piano sound, the digital piano offers a total of 22 effects (10 reverb effects, 12 chorus effects). That way you'll always find the right sound for the mood you want to create.

Layer and Split Functions

Using the "Layer" and "Split" functions you can comfortably layer two sounds and combine them, creating impressive sonic worlds. The split function lets you divide the keyboard so that, for example, strings sound with the left hand while a piano sound plays with the right. The volume of each side can be adjusted independently.

Twinova Function

The Twinova function was created for teachers and students, allowing the keyboard and pedals to be split into two halves. This creates two independent keyboards ideal for demanding piano lessons or practice sessions at home. The pedals can also be assigned individually to left and right. That way you can play as if on two separate pianos on a single instrument!

Extensive Connectivity with USB MP3 Player & Recorder

Another revolution is the wide range of connections and the built-in MP3 recorder of the UP-1. The 6.3 mm jack microphone/AUX input makes the piano attractive for entertainers. With the integrated USB MP3 recorder you can record directly onto a USB stick. The clever part: all signals (vocals, key strikes and any external audio sources) are saved into a single stereo MP3 file. If the built-in hi-fi speakers don't meet your expectations, the stereo AUX output allows connection to a PA system or active speakers.

Transpose Function

The transpose functions let you shift the instrument in semitone steps, so it can be optimally adapted to other tonal environments, tunings and ensembles.

Metronome and Headphone Jacks

To always stay in time, the UP-1 features an integrated metronome that, besides displaying beats per minute, offers Italian tempo markings (Adagio, Andante, Allegro, etc.). The tempo can be adjusted smoothly via a rotary knob. Two headphone jacks allow hassle-free playing in the evening or at night when you don't want to disturb others.

3 Pedals for Maximum Dynamics

Like a concert grand, the UP-1 provides three pedals that influence tone and dynamics: the soft pedal, played with the left foot; the sostenuto pedal; and the damper pedal, which lets notes decay. The sostenuto pedal sustains already-played notes, while the soft pedal produces a gentler tonal character.

HiFi Speaker System with Preset EQ

For powerful sound the UP-1 features a built-in stereo hi-fi speaker system that can be tailored to your needs via the integrated equalizer with 6 presets.

Above all, the arrangement of the four speakers delivers excellent sound:

The two bass speakers are mounted on the underside of the playing table. From there they radiate sound downward, and the sound reflected from the floor produces a very natural room ambience. As a genuine highlight in this price class, the two drivers for the high frequencies are aimed directly toward the pianist. This special arrangement results in an extremely nuanced sound with full character. With the USB and AUX inputs, playback of external sound sources becomes a real treat.

Comfortable and Stable Piano Bench

This piano bench combines elegant looks with high-quality features such as sturdy legs fitted with non-slip rubber, a smooth, precise spindle mechanism for height adjustment and a durable, comfortable seat with velour upholstery. The sophisticated spindle mechanism with a double-scissor system guarantees smooth and extremely long-lasting height adjustment. Small details like the rubber stoppers between the base frame and the support frame set this lovely piano bench clearly apart from other benches in this price range.

Headphones

The Pronomic KH-900 is a professional stereo headphone that combines excellent sound characteristics with supreme wearing comfort at a pocket-friendly price. The soft, wide faux-leather headband automatically adapts to head size to ensure a comfortable fit. The KH-900 covers a wide frequency range from 15 to 25,000 Hz, delivering balanced, nuanced sound with brilliant, clear highs and precise, rich bass. With a low impedance of just 32 ohms, the KH-900 can already deliver punchy sound and sufficient headroom from very low-power headphone outputs like MP3 players or smartphones. The 3.5 mm stereo jack provides excellent transmission quality. A 6.3 mm stereo-jack adapter is included.

Piano Method

In a playful, relaxed way the beginner is introduced to the instrument and guided through the basics. Starting with familiar, simple melodies and progressing to two-handed performances of complete songs, theoretical knowledge is taught alongside the exercises. Reading sheet music, rhythm, dynamics and much more are covered to accompany the practical exercises. Moreover, the simple exercises guarantee quick learning success.
