Classic Cantabile UP-1 SH E-Piano Black High Gloss Deluxe Set

USB-to-Host Compatible With Popular Piano Apps

The USB-to-Host output lets you connect the UP-1 to computers, tablets and laptops. Through the common app stores you can pair the UP-1 with popular piano apps such as Flowkey, Skoove or Simplypiano. Beginners especially benefit from the learning opportunities; there are also numerous recording apps to choose from. The UP-1 is compatible not only with Android apps but also connects comfortably to iPad and iPhone.

Damper Resonance

The UP-1's damper resonance function reliably simulates the inner workings of an acoustic piano. This means every pedaled key sounds with its natural resonance.

22 Built-In Effects

To further refine the piano sound, the digital instrument offers a total of 22 effects (10 reverb effects, 12 chorus effects). That way you can always find the right sound for the desired musical atmosphere.

Layer And Split Functions

The "Layer" and "Split" functions let you comfortably stack and combine two sounds. This enables the creation of impressive sonic textures. With the split function you can divide the keyboard so, for example, strings can sound with the left hand while a piano sound plays with the right. The volume of each side can be adjusted separately.

Twinova Function

The Twinova function was created for teachers and students and allows the keyboard and pedals to be split into two halves. This creates two independent keyboards ideal for demanding piano lessons or practice sessions at home. The pedals can also be assigned separately to left and right. This makes it possible to play as if on two separate pianos using a single instrument!

Extensive Connectivity With USB MP3 Player & Recorder

Another revolution is the UP-1's extensive connectivity and built-in MP3 recorder. The 6.3 mm jack microphone/AUX input also makes the piano attractive for entertainers. With the integrated USB MP3 recorder you can record directly to a USB stick. The clever part: all signals (vocals, key strikes and any external audio sources) are saved in a single stereo MP3 file. If the built-in hi-fi speakers do not meet your requirements, the stereo AUX output provides the option to connect to a PA system or active speakers.

Transpose Function

The transpose functions allow the instrument to be shifted in semitone steps. This lets you adapt it optimally to other tuning environments, keys and ensembles.

Metronome And Headphone Sockets

To always stay in time, the UP-1 features an integrated metronome that, in addition to displaying beats per minute, shows Italian tempo markings (Adagio, Andante, Allegro etc.). The tempo can be adjusted continuously via a rotary control. Two headphone jacks ensure hassle-free playing in the evening or at night when you don't want to disturb others.

3 Pedals For Maximum Dynamic Control

Like a grand piano, the UP-1 offers 3 pedals that influence tone and dynamics: the soft pedal (played with the left foot), the sostenuto pedal and the damper pedal, which lets notes ring out. The sostenuto pedal sustains already-played notes for a longer time. The soft pedal creates a softer tonal character.

Hi-Fi Speaker System With Preset EQ

For powerful sound, the UP-1 features a built-in stereo hi-fi speaker system that can be tailored to your needs using the integrated equalizer with 6 presets.

Above all, the arrangement of the four speakers enables excellent sound: The two bass speakers are mounted on the underside of the play table, projecting sound downward so that floor reflections create a very natural room ambience. As a real highlight in this price range, the two speakers for the high tones are directed straight toward the pianist. This special arrangement produces an extremely nuanced sound with full character. Playback of external sound sources via the USB and AUX inputs also becomes a real treat for the ears.

OLED Display

The clearly readable OLED display provides the best overview in every playing situation and shows, in addition to the selected sound, the metronome tempo, the selected time signature and other useful information.

Lacquered Surface

The high-gloss versions of the UP-1 are not equipped with a mere lacquer-look finish as is often the case, but are actually fully lacquered and polished. This not only shows in the absolutely premium appearance, it also makes the entire piano significantly more resistant to accidental knocks at corners and edges.

Piano Bench

This piano bench offers, in addition to its elegant black high-gloss appearance, high-quality features such as stable legs with non-slip rubber, a smooth and precise spindle mechanism for height adjustment and a durable, comfortable seat covered in black velour upholstery. The sophisticated spindle mechanism with a double-scissor system guarantees smooth and extremely long-lasting height adjustment. Small details like the rubber stoppers between the base frame and the support frame clearly set this beautiful bench apart from others in its price class.

Headphones

The soft, wide synthetic-leather headband of the Pronomic Studio-Headphones automatically adapts to head size and ensures a comfortable fit. To guarantee extremely pleasant comfort during long listening sessions, the two over-ear cups are extra large and super-softly padded to avoid excessive pressure. Maximum comfort is rounded off by the single-sided cable routing, which prevents unwanted cable tangles.

Piano Method

All beginnings are easy — this motto also applies to the new edition of Michael Christoph's piano method. If you fear that piano is too difficult to learn, you absolutely need this method. In a playful, relaxed way the beginner is introduced to and taught the instrument. Starting with familiar, simple melodies and progressing to two-handed playing of complete songs, a lot of theoretical knowledge is conveyed alongside. Reading notes, rhythm, dynamics and much more are covered in parallel with the exercises. In addition, the simple exercises guarantee quick learning success.
