Classic Cantabile UP-1Plus SH Upright Digital Piano, High-Gloss Black

Elegant design meets exquisite sound and extensive features!

With its extensive features and high-quality keyboard, the Classic Cantabile UP-1Plus is unquestionably a high-end digital piano. At the same time, its price makes it an appealing choice for ambitious beginners. The attractive UP-1Plus is a digital piano revolution!

Weighted hammer-action keyboard made from real wood, with pressure-point simulation and synthetic ivory surface

The composite keys feature a wood core and a highly durable plastic casing. This combination provides maintenance-free performance and, together with the textured Ivory-Touch surface, an exceptionally high-quality feel. Differently weighted hammers give the keys their graded touch; combined with pressure-point simulation and 3-sensor detection, they recreate the feel of an acoustic piano with remarkable authenticity. Touch response lets you play the digital piano like a classic upright or concert grand. The keyboard's touch sensitivity can be set to 5 levels using the Touch-Response function.

40 quality sounds with multisampling

With 40 multisampled sounds, the UP-1Plus gives discerning pianists a wide choice of tones to explore. From piano and strings to organ and harpsichord, the UP-1Plus inspires creativity. Thanks to multisampling technology, which provides several samples for every piano key, the UP-1Plus Upright Piano sets new standards in piano sound.

256-note polyphony

The UP-1Plus can play up to 256 notes simultaneously, allowing you to perform pieces in a wide range of genres (classical, rock, pop, etc.) with stereo sound and multiple voices at once.

USB-to-Host compatible with popular piano apps

The USB-to-Host port connects the UP-1Plus to a computer, tablet or laptop. Download popular apps from the app stores and pair the UP-1Plus with piano apps such as Flowkey, Skoove or Simplypiano. Beginners benefit in particular from the learning tools, and a range of recording apps is also available. The UP-1Plus works with Android apps and connects easily to iPad and iPhone.

Damper resonance

The UP-1Plus damper resonance function reliably simulates the inner workings of an acoustic piano. Every note played with the pedal down resonates naturally.

22 built-in effects

To further refine the piano sound, the digital piano offers 22 effects in total (10 reverb effects and 12 chorus effects), so you can find the right sound for every mood.

Layer and Split functions

Layer and Split let you combine 2 sounds or divide the keyboard to create impressive soundscapes. For example, play strings with your left hand and piano with your right. The volume of each side can be adjusted separately.

Twinova function

Designed for teachers and students, Twinova splits the keyboard and pedals into 2 halves, creating 2 independent keyboards ideal for piano lessons or practice at home. The pedals can also be assigned individually to the left and right sides. Play as if at two separate pianos, all on one instrument!

Extensive connectivity with USB MP3 player and recorder

The UP-1 also offers extensive connectivity and a built-in MP3 recorder. The 6.3 mm jack microphone/AUX input makes the piano a great choice for entertainers, too. The integrated USB MP3 recorder saves recordings directly to a USB drive. Best of all, every signal—vocals, keyboard performance and any external audio sources—is captured in a stereo MP3 file. If the built-in Hi-Fi speakers aren't enough, the stereo AUX output lets you connect to a PA system or powered speakers.

Transpose function

The transpose function shifts the instrument in semitone steps, making it easy to adapt to other sound settings, tunings and ensembles.

Metronome and headphone outputs

To help you keep time, the UP-1Plus features a built-in metronome that displays tempo in BPM and Italian tempo markings (Adagio, Andante, Allegro, etc.). Adjust the tempo smoothly with a rotary control. Two headphone outputs let you play comfortably in the evening or at night without disturbing others.

3 pedals for maximum expression

Like a concert grand, the UP-1Plus has 3 pedals to shape sound and dynamics: the soft pedal, played with the left foot; the sostenuto pedal; and the damper pedal, which lets notes ring out. The sostenuto pedal sustains notes already played, while the soft pedal creates a softer tone.

Hi-Fi speaker system with preset EQ

For powerful sound, the UP-1Plus features a built-in stereo Hi-Fi speaker system with an integrated equalizer offering 6 presets to suit your preferences.

The arrangement of the 4 speakers delivers excellent sound: The two bass speakers are mounted underneath the keyboard. They project sound downward, and reflections from the floor create a natural room sound. A real highlight at this price is that the two high-frequency speakers project directly towards the pianist. This distinctive layout creates a nuanced sound with plenty of character. The USB and AUX inputs also make listening to external audio sources a pleasure.

OLED display

The easy-to-read OLED display keeps you informed while you play, showing the selected sound, metronome tempo, time signature and other useful information.
