Improved Lever Mechanism

An outstanding feature of this harp is the improved and color-coded tuning hooks. Each string is equipped with a half-step lever which, when engaged, raises the pitch of the respective string by a half step. These tuning hooks make intonating the strings easier and more precise than ever before.

Whether you are an experienced player seeking fine adjustments or a beginner exploring the instrument – the colored tuning hooks provide clear orientation and enable precise string tuning.

Typical Design

Characteristic of the Celtic harp is the typically curved shape of the pillar, as also found on the Irish coat of arms. The ash wood hook harp has a range of 3 octaves (a - a³).

Tuning

The 22 strings are tuned diatonically in E-flat major, with blue and red strings indicating the positions of the notes C and F. By flipping up the respective hooks, the harp can be quickly retuned to another key, allowing very flexible playing with others. For initial attempts and easier understanding, a C tuning is also possible. Two tuning keys are used to tune the instrument: The square key is applied to the tuning pegs, while the hex key is used for the fine tuners on the opposite side.

With Feet

This LG variant of the popular H-22 harp has four feet that are simply screwed into the instrument at the bottom. This positions the harp at an ideal playing height. For transport, the legs can be unscrewed and stored in the outer pocket.

The softly padded bag not only offers your instrument ample protection against dust and scratches, but the outer pocket also provides enough space for the two tuning keys and other accessories.

Tuner with Metronome

This universal device is the perfect companion for virtually any instrument. Not only can almost any instrument be tuned accurately with the contact microphone and wide tuning range, but the built-in metronome also keeps everything in the right tempo. The calibratable tuner offers 5 tuning modes, a tone generator, and a jack input with contact microphone. The metronome features a wide tempo range from 30 to 260 beats per minute, 9 time signatures, and various rhythm subdivisions.

Harp School

Kristine Warmhold explains all important information for harp beginners in this school. From harp setup, tuning, and posture to various plucking techniques, the essential skills are developed through songs. Detailed explanations for each exercise are provided in additional videos available for download. All songs are also played in the videos, giving you a better idea of how the finished piece should sound at first, and later you can play "duets" with Kristine. All videos are played on the small 12-string harp, so you can start with any larger harp as well.

Music Stand

This music stand features a tripod construction for optimal stability. Naturally, the legs have solid, non-slip rubber caps. The music shelf can be tilted and fixed with a screw. With a depth of about 4 cm, this music stand is also perfectly suited for thick music books.
