Rich Sound and Bold Colors!
Premium tone and eye-catching looks — the XDrum Design Series packs a powerful bass and crisp snare tones. The elaborately painted artwork also draws plenty of envious glances. The lower half of the playing surface is glued for stability, while the upper half is screwed on. With a seat height of 49 cm, the bass-port cajon delivers excellent comfort and top playability.
Design
Set Off on Dream Paths: The ultimate eye-catcher is the hand-painted body, decorated on all four sides with handmade dot-art in an Aboriginal style. That keeps the cajon in the spotlight even during breaks.
Bass Tunnel
A permanently integrated bass-reflex tunnel delivers a commanding low end while the snare tones still cut through convincingly.
Playing Surface
The cajon's playing surface is finished in plain black and bears an XDrum logo. The upper half is screwed rather than glued, which lets you fine-tune the clap corners and thus the overall tone.
Snare Effect
To refine the hits at the top edge, a 20-coil snare carpet is mounted inside; it vibrates with each strike of the cajon and provides the characteristic snare coloration.

The only thing that could have been done better is the black front where you play on it. Would be nicer if this, like the other sides in the color would be. Would have liked better, but maybe that affects the sound then. Otherwise, I can only recommend it.
