In plain terms, the Rear Stick is the logical, practical extension for a cajon that brings real playing advantages. This stick finally fills the gap between drums and percussion. With the Rear Stick, the cajon becomes an ultra-compact drum set.

The Rear Stick takes on the role of the hi-hat. With its own distinct sound character, it lets you conjure up all kinds of drum grooves. The jingles can be switched with one hand between a closed and an open sound (similar to a hi-hat). The Rear Stick's appearance follows the same design language as a cajon: reduction to the essentials.

SIDE 75 Side Kick

The Side 75 Side Kick delivers a punchy click effect reminiscent of castanets or claves. Typically the Side Kick is mounted on the side of the cajon and played with the heel. One playing variant is to position the Side Kick in front of the player to play it like a bass drum pedal. For this setup we recommend using a drum rug — the Side Kick gains good grip from the hook-and-loop strips applied to its back.

The combination of Rear Stick and Side Kick as a set is especially practical. The Side Kick fits exactly onto the carrier plate of the Rear Stick. This allows the two parts to be mounted together or independently on either side depending on your playing technique.
