Design
The side-mounted slats and the wood look in a light shabby chic style refer to the cajon's origins: before evolving into independent musical instruments, banana crates were used as drum substitutes. The only thing that could have been done better is the black front where you play on it. Would be nicer if this, like the other sides in the color would be. Would have liked better, but maybe that affects the sound then. Otherwise, I can only recommend it.
