When the Cajon Alone Doesn't Offer Enough Sounds!

Initially, a hook-and-loop strip must be glued once onto the cajon (don’t worry, it comes off without residue). From then on, the mounting plate is simply attached and detached using the hook-and-loop connection. By the way, a foam rubber strip on the inside ensures that there is no wood-to-wood contact and that the plate does not affect the cajon’s sound.
And What’s It For?
With one quick move, you get a hook-and-loop surface about 6 x 20 cm in size, where, for example, castanets, cabasa, block, jingles, and much more can be attached. The only important thing is that these accessory instruments also have a suitable hook-and-loop strip. Ideally, the placement of each instrument on the entire surface is completely flexible. Depending on the song, the needed setup can be switched out in a flash.
