Size And Craftsmanship
The cajon consists of a 7-ply birch body with 9 mm thickness. The cleanly glued individual parts reveal a beautiful grain, rounded corners and edges not only look great but also feel comfortable. The Peruana design on the Schlagplatte highlights the connection to the South American homeland of the instrument. With a seating surface of approx. 31 x 30 cm and a height of approx. 48 cm, the cajon offers excellent seating and playing comfort.
Adjustable Snare Effect And Clap Corners
On the inside of the Schlagplatte, a total of 4 bronze-wrapped strings create the distinctive snare sound of these box drums. To tailor the intensity of the effect to your personal taste, the string tension can be adjusted with the included hex key. The key itself is stored inside the cajon and thus never gets lost.
Since the Schlagplatte is fully screwed, the clap corners can be finely adjusted with a screwdriver, enabling an incredible richness of sound.
Including Bag
The package includes a bag made of durable nylon material, which protects your cajon optimally with 1 cm thick padding. A 33 x 26 cm large outer pocket offers plenty of storage space for sheet music, small shakers, and other accessories. Besides the classic carrying handle on top, this gig bag even features a backpack harness.
