These finely crafted cajones from XDrum's 'Peruana' series, featuring a 9 mm birch shell and snare effect, deliver sounds at the highest level (in addition to their striking design).
Size And Construction
The cajon is built from a 7-ply birch shell with a 9 mm thickness. The neatly glued components reveal a beautiful grain, and rounded corners and edges not only look great but also improve handling. The Peruana design on the front plate underlines the instrument's South American roots. With a seating surface of approx. 31 x 30 cm and a height of approx. 48 cm, the cajon offers excellent seating and playing comfort.
Adjustable Snare Effect And Clap Corners
On the inside of the front plate, four bronze-wrapped strings produce the distinctive snare sound of these box drums. To tailor the effect's intensity to your taste, you can adjust the string tension with the supplied hex key. The key itself is stored inside the cajon so it won't get lost. Because the front plate is fully screwed in, you can finely adjust the Clap Corners with a screwdriver, creating an incredibly rich sound.
Includes Bag
Included is a bag made of durable nylon material with 1 cm padding to optimally protect your cajon. A 33 x 26 cm outer pocket provides ample storage for sheet music, small shakers and other accessories. In addition to the classic top carry handle, this gigbag even offers backpack-style straps. That way you can take your cajon by bike, scooter or on foot to wherever you're laying down the groove!
