Ready For The Stage!
The DD-650 comes packed with features that make this drum set a real workhorse on stage and in the rehearsal room: a two-piece HiHat pad on a real HiHat stand, a 3-zone ride pad, top-quality sounds and 6 faders for easy and quick selection of important parameters. Plus, the wooden snare and kick pads deliver an incredibly realistic playing feel and also look like a "real" drum kit. It rocks!
Drum Pads With Double-Layer Mesh Heads
If you expect realistic rebound from an e-drum, mesh heads are simply a must. All drum pads are equipped with mesh heads, which are absolutely quiet and allow precise triggering. Since the heads can be "tuned" with a key, each pad feels like an acoustic drum. Except for the kick pad, all pads naturally have both a head and rim trigger for two different sounds per pad.
Snare And Kick Pads Made Of Wood!
A real highlight: the 14" snare with a genuine wooden shell is mounted on its own stand and offers familiar handling like the acoustic original. This setup also prevents crosstalk to other pads. You immediately feel "at home".
The kick pad also features a wooden shell and not only provides an absolutely realistic playing feel, but the 14" large mesh head also easily fits a double bass pedal.
Top-Quality Cymbal Pads
This is a setup you can work with: the HiHat pad consists of two parts and can be mounted on any common HiHat stand. While the crash pads offer two freely assignable zones, the ride pad even comes with its own bell trigger. Naturally, crash and ride pads can be choked by hand.
First-Class Sounds And Plenty Of Options
The heart of the drum set - the module - offers 720 high-quality sounds with multisampling technology. From rock to pop, ethnic and electronic, 15 custom drum sets can be created, with every pad freely assignable and each sound finely adjustable in terms of volume, panorama, pitch and reverb.
The user-friendly faders prove especially practical, allowing very quick adjustments. For example, volume ratios of individual instrument groups can be balanced or global effects (reverb, compressor and equalizer) controlled. A feature you won’t want to miss in live use.
Includes Rack
Almost the entire drum set (except HiHat, snare and kick drum) is mounted on the sturdy rack, which is space-saving and allows for quick setup. The tom pad mounts feature ball joints, allowing stepless positioning of the pads.
So get out of the rehearsal room and let the show begin!

I was very happy to be able to send my package this way!
You should learn to read and write the addresses of customers correctly and especially to send with a sticker on the package with the name and address of the customer.
I do not say thank you!
I saved the situation because the hardware is great, very playable and the settings are a bit complicated at first.

Delivery and packaging were great. Where I like to wait a day longer for goods if I know that it will be delivered properly.
Unpacked and built up has turned out relatively quickly that the price performance is completely in order.
Will also play gigs with it and also have no concerns that it can not be built up and dismantled several times, as so often depends on the treatment.
Only the control is getting used to and requires the manual necessarily to read. Even with technical savvy one does not get along so ... Variations to the setting there are enough. Only when saving I still have problems.
Conclusion: For this money absolute purchase recommendation

Questions about product
Question by ermanno dosa on 06.12.2022
How loud do they make in the house, without amplifier and headphones? Do they make a loud noise? I am talking about the 650 and 670 models; thank you.
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The volume can be compared to when you hit a trivet with a cooking spoon.
Question by Pascal on 19.10.2021
Good day.
Can you play well in the apartment because of noise ?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The advantage of an electric drum is clearly noise minimization. So it can be played very well in an apartment. In addition, you can absorb the impact sound (bass drum pedal) with a noise eater mat: https://www.kirstein.de/E-Drum-Zubehoer/Roland-NE-10-Noise-Eater-fuer-E-Drums-Graeuschdaemfpungsset.html
Question by pim klaver on 12.10.2021
is there a headphone with the set?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
No, not here. But here: https://www.kirstein.de/E-Drums-Sets/XDrum-DD-650-PLUS-Mesh-E-Drum-Kit-Set.html
Question by Stefano Cerri on 05.05.2021
Hi, is the DD 650 suitable for people taller than 6 feet, or is it advisable to get the DD 670? Thanks
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
With the DD 670, the positions of the toms and cymbals can be better adjusted. For tall people, the DD 670 is more suitable.
Question by Stefan on 25.03.2021
are there also additional cymbal pads, would like a "China" in addition to the 2 Crashes
is there the front rack bar also longer, would like to have 3 toms in front
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
In the configuration with two crashes and four toms, the maximum number of pads is unfortunately reached. Of course, it is possible to put a China sound on one of the cymbal pads. An extended rack centerpiece is unfortunately not available.
Question by thierry on 07.02.2021
hello, what is the ground dimension once the battery is installed?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The battery has generously calculated the following dimensions: width about 170 cm, depth about 90 cm (without stool), height about 110 cm.
Question by HPK on 06.02.2021
Hello
How do I get an external music source connected so I can play to it?
Thanks
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Simply connect your external music source to the line-in input on the back of the drum machine using a 3.5 mm jack cable.
Question by Derza on 23.09.2020
I saw a recording button in this drum kit. What format is the file saved in? Is it a MIDI file? Can I download this file via USB?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
With this button you can record yourself. However, this recording cannot be saved as an mp3 or midi file. To record the drums, you can connect the drums to your PC via a midi connection and control any midi software or DAW.
Question by Matty Mann on 26.05.2020
Hi does this hi hat do half open and heel splash?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Hello,
the hi-hat can be played half-open.
A hi-hat splash is not possible.
Question by Roberto D. on 18.05.2020
Hi, does the difference with the dd670 consist only that the 650 plus is half on wooden drums compared to the dd670 or is there more. Thanks
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Yes, the difference between the two models is only optical. The drum computer is the same.
