Classic Cantabile UP-1Plus SH Upright Digital Piano, High-Gloss Black Set

Elegant design meets exquisite sound and extensive features!

Given its extensive features and high-quality keyboard, the Classic Cantabile UP-1Plus is undoubtedly a high-end digital piano. At the same time, its price makes the instrument an appealing choice for ambitious beginners, too. The attractive UP-1Plus is a true digital piano revolution!

Weighted hammer-action keyboard made from real wood, with escapement simulation and synthetic ivory finish

The composite keys have a wooden core and a highly durable plastic coating. This combination not only provides maintenance-free performance, but also offers an exceptionally premium feel thanks to the textured Ivory-Touch finish. The keys are weighted using hammers of different weights; together with escapement simulation and triple-sensor technology, this recreates the playing feel of an acoustic piano with great authenticity. Touch response lets you play the digital piano like a traditional piano or concert grand. The keyboard's touch response can be adjusted in 5 levels using the Touch Response function.

40 premium sounds with multisampling

With a total of 40 sounds, all featuring multisampling, the UP-1Plus gives discerning pianists a wide range of sounds to explore different moods. From piano and strings to organ and harpsichord, the UP-1Plus inspires creativity with its many possibilities. Thanks to multisampling technology, which gives each piano key several different samples, the UP-1Plus upright piano sets new standards for piano sound.

256-note polyphony

The UP-1Plus can play up to 256 notes at once, allowing you to play pieces from a wide range of genres (classical, rock, pop, etc.) with stereo sound and multiple voices simultaneously.

USB-to-Host compatible with popular piano apps

The USB-to-Host port connects the UP-1Plus to a computer, tablet or laptop. Through popular app stores, you can pair the UP-1Plus with leading piano apps such as Flowkey, Skoove or Simplypiano. Beginners especially benefit from the learning resources, while a wide range of recording apps is also available. The UP-1Plus is compatible with Android apps and also connects easily to iPad and iPhone.

Damper resonance

The UP-1Plus damper resonance function accurately simulates the inner workings of an acoustic piano. Every note played with the pedal down resonates naturally.

22 built-in effects

To further refine the piano sound, the digital piano features a total of 22 effects (10 reverb effects, 12 chorus effects). There's always a suitable sound for the mood you want to create.

Layer and Split functions

The Layer and Split functions let you combine 2 sounds by layering them. Create impressive soundscapes, or use Split to divide the keyboard—for example, play strings with your left hand and piano with your right. The volume of each side can be adjusted independently.

Twinova function

Designed for teachers and students, the Twinova function divides the keyboard and pedals into 2 halves to create two independent keyboards, ideal for lessons or practice at home. The pedals can also be assigned separately to the left and right sides. This lets two people play as if at separate pianos, on a single instrument!

Extensive connectivity with USB MP3 player and recorder

Another standout feature of the UP-1 is its extensive connectivity and built-in MP3 recorder. The 6.3 mm jack microphone/AUX input also makes the piano appealing to entertainers. The built-in USB MP3 recorder saves recordings directly to a USB flash drive. Best of all, all signals—vocals, keyboard performance and any external audio sources—are saved together as a stereo MP3 file. If the built-in Hi-Fi speakers don't meet your needs, the stereo AUX output lets you connect a PA system or powered speakers.

Transpose function

The Transpose function shifts the instrument in semitone steps, making it easy to adapt to other sound settings, tunings and ensembles.

Metronome and headphone jacks

To help you keep time, the UP-1Plus has a built-in metronome that displays tempo in BPM as well as Italian tempo markings (Adagio, Andante, Allegro, etc.). Adjust the tempo continuously using a rotary control. Two headphone jacks let you play undisturbed in the evening or at night.

3 pedals for maximum expressive control

Like a concert grand, the UP-1Plus has 3 pedals for shaping sound and dynamics: the soft pedal, operated with the left foot; the sostenuto pedal; and the damper pedal, which lets notes ring out. The sostenuto pedal sustains notes that have already been played, while the soft pedal creates a softer sound.

Hi-Fi speaker system with preset EQ

For powerful sound, the UP-1Plus features a built-in stereo Hi-Fi speaker system that can be tailored to your needs using the integrated equalizer with 6 presets.

The arrangement of the 4 speakers in particular delivers excellent sound: The two bass speakers are mounted underneath the keyboard. They project sound downward, and the floor reflections create a very natural room sound. Remarkably for this price range, the two treble speakers are aimed directly at the pianist. This special arrangement produces a highly nuanced sound with plenty of character. The USB and AUX inputs also make listening to external audio sources a real pleasure.

OLED display

The clear, easy-to-read OLED display keeps you informed in every playing situation. It shows the selected sound, metronome tempo, time signature and other useful information.

Comfortable, sturdy piano bench

Along with its elegant appearance, this piano bench offers premium features such as sturdy legs with non-slip rubber, a smooth, precise spindle mechanism for height adjustment, and a durable, comfortable seat with velvet upholstery. The refined double-scissor spindle mechanism ensures smooth, exceptionally durable seat-height adjustment. Small details, such as the rubber stops between the base frame and support frame, set this attractive piano bench apart from others in its price range.

Headphones

The Pronomic KH-900 is a professional stereo headphone that combines excellent sound with outstanding wearing comfort at an affordable price. Its soft, wide faux-leather headband adjusts automatically to your head for a comfortable fit. With a wide frequency range of 15 to 25,000 Hz, the KH-900 delivers balanced, nuanced sound with brilliant, clear highs and precise, powerful bass. Its low impedance of just 32 ohms means the KH-900 performs impressively, with plenty of headroom, even when connected to low-power headphone outputs such as those on MP3 players and smartphones. The 3.5 mm stereo jack plug ensures excellent signal transmission. A 6.3 mm stereo jack adapter is also included.

Starting with familiar, simple melodies and progressing to playing complete songs with both hands, it also teaches useful music theory along the way. Reading music, rhythm, dynamics and much more are covered alongside the exercises. The easy exercises also help you make quick progress.
