Classic Cantabile UP-1 LA Upright E-Piano Light Oak Deluxe Set

USB-to-Host Compatible With Common Piano Apps

The USB-to-Host output lets you connect the UP-1 to a computer, tablet or laptop. Through the usual app stores you can pair the UP-1 with popular piano apps like Flowkey, Skoove or Simplypiano. Beginners especially benefit from the learning features; there are also numerous recording apps available. The UP-1 is compatible not only with Android apps but also connects comfortably to iPad and iPhone.

Damper Resonance

The UP-1's damper-resonance function reliably simulates the inner workings of an acoustic piano. That way every pedaled keystroke rings with its natural resonance.

22 Built-In Effects

To further refine the piano sound, the digital instrument offers a total of 22 effects (10 reverbs, 12 choruses). You'll always find the right sound for the mood you're after.

Layer and Split Functions

Using the "Layer" and "Split" functions you can comfortably stack two sounds and combine them, creating impressive sonic textures. The Split function divides the keyboard so, for example, the left hand can play strings while the right hand plays piano. The volume of each side can be adjusted independently.

Twinova Function

The Twinova function was designed for teachers and students, letting you split the keyboard and pedals into two halves. That creates two independent keyboards, ideal for demanding piano lessons or practice sessions at home. The pedals can also be assigned separately to left and right. In short: you can play as if you had two separate pianos on a single instrument!

Extensive Connectivity With USB MP3 Player & Recorder

The UP-1's wide range of connections and built-in MP3 recorder are another revolution. The 6.3 mm jack microphone/AUX input makes the piano attractive for entertainers. With the integrated USB MP3 recorder you can record directly to a USB stick. The kicker: all signals (vocals, key strikes and any external audio sources) are stored together in a stereo MP3 file. If the built-in hi-fi speakers don't meet your demands, the stereo AUX output lets you connect to a PA system or active speakers.

Transpose Function

The transpose function lets you shift the instrument in semitone steps, making it easy to adapt to different tonal contexts, tunings and ensembles.

Metronome and Headphone Outputs

To stay in time, the UP-1 features a built-in metronome that, in addition to displaying beats per minute, offers tempo markings (Adagio, Andante, Allegro, etc.). The tempo is smoothly adjustable via a dial. Two headphone outputs make playing easy even in the evening or at night when you don't want to disturb others.

3 Pedals for Maximum Dynamics

Like a grand piano, the UP-1 offers three pedals to shape sound and dynamics: the soft pedal (played with the left foot), the sostenuto pedal and the damper pedal, which lets notes ring out. The sostenuto pedal sustains already-played notes longer. The soft pedal yields a softer tonal character.

HiFi Speaker System With Preset EQ

For powerful sound, the UP-1 features a built-in stereo hi-fi speaker system that can be tailored to your needs via the integrated equalizer with six presets.

Above all, the arrangement of the four speakers delivers excellent sound: The two bass speakers are mounted under the playtable, projecting sound downward so that reflections from the floor create a very natural room sound. Unusually for this price range, the two high-frequency speakers point directly toward the pianist. This special arrangement produces an exceptionally nuanced sound with full character. The USB and AUX inputs also make playback of external sound sources a treat for the ears.

OLED Display

The easy-to-read OLED display gives a clear overview in any playing situation and shows the selected sound, metronome tempo, chosen time signature and other useful information.

Comfortable and Sturdy Piano Bench

This piano bench combines elegant looks with premium features such as sturdy legs with non-slip rubber, a smooth, precise screw spindle mechanism for height adjustment and a durable, comfortable seat covered in velour. The sophisticated spindle mechanism with a double-scissor system guarantees a smooth and extremely long-lasting height adjustment. Small details like the rubber stoppers between the base frame and support frame clearly set this fine bench apart from others in its price class.

Headphones

The Pronomic KH-900 is a professional stereo headphone that combines excellent sound characteristics with top comfort at a wallet-friendly price. The soft, wide faux-leather headband adapts to head size for a comfortable fit. The KH-900 covers a wide frequency range from 15 to 25,000 Hz, reproducing a balanced, nuanced sound with brilliant, clear highs and precise, rich bass. Thanks to the low impedance of just 32 ohms, the KH-900 can deliver powerful sound and sufficient headroom even from low-powered headphone outputs such as MP3 players or smartphones. The 3.5 mm stereo jack delivers excellent transmission quality. A 6.3 mm stereo jack adapter is included.

Piano Method

The method introduces the instrument to beginners in a playful, relaxed way. From familiar simple melodies to playing complete songs with both hands, the book also teaches a fair amount of theory along the way. Reading notation, rhythm, dynamics and much more are covered alongside the exercises. The straightforward exercises also guarantee quick learning progress.
