The Twinova function was created for teachers and students, allowing the keyboard and pedals to be split into two halves. Wide Range of Connections with USB MP3 Player & Recorder

Another revolution is the wide range of connections and the built-in MP3 recorder of the UP-1. The 6.3 mm jack microphone/AUX input also makes the piano attractive for entertainers. With the integrated USB MP3 recorder, recordings can be made directly to a USB stick. The clever part: all signals (vocals, key strikes, and any external audio sources) are saved in a stereo MP3 file. Transpose Function

To always stay in time, the UP-1 features an integrated metronome, which, besides displaying beats per minute, also shows Italian tempo markings (adagio, andante, allegro, etc.). Like a grand piano, the UP-1 offers 3 pedals to influence sound and dynamics. The soft pedal, played with the left foot, the sostenuto pedal, and the damper pedal, which lets notes ring out. The sostenuto pedal sustains already played notes longer. The soft pedal creates a softer sound.

HiFi Speaker System with Preset EQ

For powerful sound, the UP-1 features a built-in stereo hi-fi speaker system, which can be adjusted to your needs via the integrated equalizer with 6 presets.

Especially the arrangement of the 4 speakers allows excellent sound: The two bass speakers are mounted on the underside of the playing table. From here, they project sound downward, with the sound reflected from the floor creating a very natural room sound. As a real highlight in this price range, the two speakers for the high tones are directed straight towards the pianist. This special arrangement results in an extremely nuanced sound image with full character. The USB and AUX inputs also make playback of external sound sources a delight.

OLED Display
