Classic Cantabile DP-230 WM E-Piano White Matte

Easy Operation, Convincing Richness Of Sound And Realistic Playing Feel At A Great Price!

A good beginner piano must meet three requirements: it must first be easy to operate, second offer high-quality features and third come with a price that doesn’t overburden your wallet or the family budget. The DP-230 electric piano masters this demanding mix of substantial criteria with flying colors. Even more experienced musicians who want to practice what they’ve already learned and deepen their skills will be enthusiastic about the new Classic Cantabile digital piano, because the convincing richness of sound and the realistic playing feel naturally make the instrument a lot of fun even for advanced pianists!

Weighted Hammer-Action Keyboard With Adjustable Touch Sensitivity

To provide an authentic playing feel, the developers at Classic Cantabile equipped the DP-230 with a hammer-action keyboard modeled on a real piano keyboard. As a result, pressing a key produces resistance similar to what you find on acoustic pianos. In addition, the keys feature touch sensitivity that lets you play softly (with light key pressure) or emphasize certain notes by pressing harder.

Elegant Design With Piano Cover

The digital piano’s design is modeled on an acoustic piano, so it not only demonstrates its technical capabilities but also scores visually as a high-quality piece of furniture. The practical keyboard cover effectively prevents dust from settling on the keys and protects them until their next use!

128-Voice Polyphony

With 128-voice polyphony the electric piano can reproduce up to 128 notes simultaneously. Thanks to this range of available tones, the player can apply timbres from different musical styles—from classical to rock—at any time, even in stereo sound.

40 Different Sounds

The extensive selection of 40 high-quality WMA voices allows for varied emphasis in the melody and thus the creation of very different moods. The pianist can enjoy plenty of room for experimentation. Whether organ, accordion or string instrument—the Classic Cantabile digital piano delivers the right sounds for every taste.

Versatile Connectivity Options

In terms of connectivity the electric piano can keep up with current top models. The following connections are available: two headphone jacks—one of which mutes the internal speakers when a headphone is plugged in for undisturbed practice—a USB port for connecting the piano to a computer, and one MIDI input and one MIDI output for controlling external devices such as synthesizers. With the audio inputs and outputs (cinch) you can either connect external devices like CD players or MP3 players to the piano or hook it up to an external amplifier.

Metronome And Headphone Jacks

To help you keep the right beat and tempo while practicing, the DP-230 features an integrated metronome. Both the tempo and the time signature of the metronome can be adjusted as desired. The DP-230 also provides two headphone jacks. These ensure you can practice and play at any time without, for example, disturbing the neighbor. Via the second headphone jack your piano playing can even be listened to in "silent" mode.

The Pedals "Soft", "Sostenuto" And "Sustain"

On the DP-230 digital piano you have three pedals—just like on an acoustic grand piano—that let you precisely shape the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal is on the left and, like the sostenuto pedal in the middle, is played with the left foot. The sustain pedal on the right is usually used most often. It lets all notes ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal only sustains notes that have already been played. The left-positioned soft pedal reduces the volume of struck notes and produces a softer tone.
