Classic Cantabile DP-230 SM E-Piano Matte Black

Easy Operation, Convincing Tone And Realistic Playability At An Outstanding Price!

A good beginner piano has to meet three requirements: first, it must be easy to operate; second, it should offer high-quality features; and third, it should come at a price that doesn’t overstretch your wallet or the family budget. The DP-230 digital piano masters this demanding mix of substantial criteria with flying colors. Even more experienced musicians who want to practice what they’ve already learned and deepen their skills will be enthusiastic about the new Classic Cantabile digital piano, because its convincing tonal richness and realistic touch make playing a lot of fun for advanced pianists as well!

Weighted Hammer-Action Keyboard With Adjustable Touch Sensitivity

To provide an authentic playing feel, the developers at Classic Cantabile equipped the DP-230 with a hammer-action keyboard modeled on a real piano keyboard. This creates resistance when you press a key, just as you find on acoustic pianos. In addition, the keys feature touch sensitivity so you can play quietly with a light touch or accent notes by pressing harder.

Refined Design With Keyboard Cover

The digital piano’s design is inspired by an acoustic piano, so it not only shows off its technical capabilities but also stands out as a high-quality piece of furniture. The practical keyboard cover effectively prevents dust from settling on the keys and protects them until their next use!

128-Voice Polyphony

With 128-voice polyphony, the digital piano can reproduce up to 128 notes simultaneously. Thanks to this range of available tones, the player can apply sound colors from musical styles spanning classical to rock — including in stereo — at any time.

40 Different Sounds

The extensive selection of 40 high-quality WMA voices allows for different emphases in the melody and thus the creation of very different moods. Pianists can look forward to plenty of room for experimentation. Whether organ, accordion or string instrument: the Classic Cantabile digital piano delivers the right sounds for every taste.

Versatile Connectivity Options

When it comes to connectivity, this digital piano can hold its own against current top models. The following connections are available: two headphone jacks, one of which mutes the internal speakers when headphones are plugged in for undisturbed practice; a USB port for connecting the piano to a computer; and both MIDI in and out for controlling external devices like synthesizers. With the audio inputs and outputs (phono) you can either connect external devices such as CD players or MP3 players to the piano or hook it up to an external amplifier.

Metronome And Headphone Jacks

To help you keep the right beat and tempo while practicing, the DP-230 includes a built-in metronome. Both the tempo and the time signature of the metronome can be adjusted as desired. The DP-230 also features two headphone jacks. These ensure that you can practice and play at any time without, for example, disturbing the neighbor. Through the second headphone jack, someone can even listen to your playing in "silent" mode.

The Pedals "Soft", "Sostenuto" And "Sustain"

With the DP-230 digital piano you have three pedals just like on an acoustic grand, allowing you to shape the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal is on the left and — like the middle sostenuto pedal — is played with the left foot. The sustain pedal on the right is usually used most often: it lets all notes ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal sustains only notes that were already being held. The left soft pedal reduces the volume of struck notes and produces a softer tonal character.
