Weighted Hammer Keyboard with Adjustable Touch Sensitivity

The weighted keyboard of the DP-210 with real hammer action simulates the playing feel of an acoustic piano with traditional mechanics as authentically as possible for the pianist. The 88 keys feature a certain "natural" resistance when pressed down, just like classic acoustic pianos. The keyboard is also velocity-sensitive, meaning the tones sound louder or softer depending on how hard you press a key. Thanks to the different settings ("Touch Response" = velocity sensitivity), you can, for example, produce a relatively loud sound even with a gentle touch (setting "Soft"). This function is often especially helpful for the youngest piano beginners. To reliably protect the keyboard from dust, the DP-210 comes with a keyboard cover.

64-Note Polyphony

Thanks to the 64-note polyphony, the digital piano can play up to 64 tones simultaneously. With this range of available tones, players can use voices from various music styles, from classical to rock, anytime with stereo sound.

26 Different Sounds

The extensive selection of 26 high-quality WMA voices allows for different melodic accents during play, creating a wide range of moods. Pianists can enjoy plenty of room for experimentation. The "Dual Mode" (Layer) and "Split Mode" Functions

With the "Layer" function, you can overlay two voices—such as strings and piano—combining them to create a particularly impressive, full sound. "Split" divides your keyboard into two separate zones. You can assign these zones individually with different voices, so, for example, strings can sound on the left hand and piano on the right. In both "Layer" and "Split" modes, the volume for the different sounds can be adjusted separately.

Metronome and Headphone Outputs

To help you keep the right beat and tempo while practicing, the DP-210 includes a built-in metronome. Both tempo and volume of the metronome can be adjusted as desired. Additionally, the DP-210 has two headphone outputs, allowing you to practice and play anytime without disturbing others, such as neighbors. The second headphone output lets someone else listen to your playing "silently."

The "Soft", "Sostenuto" and "Sustain" Pedals

The DP-210 digital piano offers three pedals like an acoustic grand piano, letting you precisely shape the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal is on the left and is played with the left foot, as is the sostenuto pedal in the middle. The sustain pedal on the right is usually used most often. It lets all notes ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal sustains only the notes already played. The left soft pedal reduces the volume of the struck notes and produces a softer tone.
