Weighted Hammer Keyboard with Adjustable Touch Sensitivity

The weighted keyboard of the DP-210 with genuine hammer action simulates the playing feel of an acoustic piano with traditional mechanics as authentically as possible. The 88 keys feature a certain “natural” resistance when pressed down, just like classic acoustic pianos. The keyboard is also velocity-sensitive, meaning the tones sound louder or softer depending on how hard you press a key. Thanks to various settings (“Touch Response” = touch sensitivity), you can, for example, produce a relatively loud sound even with a gentle touch (setting “Soft”). This function is especially helpful for the youngest piano beginners. To reliably protect the keyboard from dust, the DP-210 comes with a keyboard cover.

64-Note Polyphony

Thanks to the 64-note polyphony, the digital piano can play up to 64 tones simultaneously. This range of available tones allows the player to use voices from various music genres, from classical to rock, anytime with stereo sound.

The "Dual Mode" (Layer) and "Split Mode" Functions

With the "Layer" function, you can combine two voices—such as strings and piano—by layering them. This easily creates a particularly impressive, full sound. "Split" divides your keyboard into two separate zones. You can assign different voices to each zone and, for example, play strings with your left hand and piano with your right. In both "Layer" and "Split" modes, the volume for each sound can be adjusted separately.

Metronome and Headphone Outputs

To help you keep the right beat and tempo while practicing, the DP-210 includes a built-in metronome. Both tempo and volume of the metronome can be adjusted as desired. Additionally, the DP-210 features two headphone outputs, allowing you to practice and play anytime without disturbing neighbors. The second headphone output also lets others listen quietly to your playing.

The "Soft", "Sostenuto", and "Sustain" Pedals

The DP-210 digital piano offers three pedals like an acoustic grand piano, letting you precisely shape the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal on the left and the sostenuto pedal in the middle are played with the left foot. The sustain pedal on the right is the most commonly used. It lets all notes ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal sustains only the notes already played. The left soft pedal reduces the volume of struck notes and creates a softer sound.
