Classic Cantabile DP-210 SM E-Piano Matte Black

Easy to Use, Convincing Full Sound, and Realistic Touch at a Great Price!

A good beginner piano must meet three requirements: first, it has to be easy to use; second, it should offer high-quality features; and third, it should come at a price that won’t blow the household budget. The DP-210 electric piano masters this demanding mix of solid criteria with flying colors. More experienced players who want to practise what they’ve learned and deepen their skills will also be impressed by the new Classic Cantabile digital piano: its convincing full sound and realistic touch make playing fun for advanced pianists as well!

Weighted Hammer-Action Keyboard With Adjustable Touch Response

The DP-210’s weighted keyboard with genuine hammer action recreates the feel of an acoustic piano with traditional mechanics as authentically as possible. The 88 keys offer a certain, "natural" resistance when pressed, just like on classic acoustic pianos. The keyboard is also velocity-sensitive, meaning notes sound at different volumes depending on how hard you press a key. With the different settings ("Touch Response" = touch sensitivity) you can, for example, produce a relatively loud sound even with a gentle touch (setting "Soft"). This feature is especially helpful for the youngest beginners. To protect the keyboard reliably from dust, the DP-210 comes with a key cover.

128-Note Polyphony

Thanks to 128-note polyphony, the electric piano can reproduce up to 128 tones simultaneously. With this palette of available tones, players can use voices from classical to rock — even in stereo — at any time.

26 Different Sounds

The wide selection of 26 high-quality WMA Voices lets you emphasize melody lines differently and create a variety of moods. The pianist has plenty of room to experiment — whether organ, accordion or strings, the Classic Cantabile digital piano delivers the right sounds for every taste.

The Dual Mode (Layer) and Split Mode Functions

With the "Layer" function you can stack two voices — for example strings and piano — to create a rich, impressive sound. "Split" divides the keyboard into two separate zones. You can assign these zones individually with different voices so, for example, strings sound on the left hand while piano sounds on the right. For both "Layer" and "Split" the volume of the different sounds can be adjusted separately.

Metronome and Headphone Outputs

To help you keep the right beat and tempo while practising, the DP-210 has an integrated metronome. Both the tempo and the volume of the metronome can be adjusted as desired. The DP-210 also features two headphone outputs so you can practise and play without disturbing the neighbors. The second headphone output allows someone to listen in while you play silently.

The Soft, Sostenuto and Sustain Pedals

Like an acoustic grand piano, the DP-210 offers three pedals to shape the sound of the pieces you play. The Soft pedal is on the left and — like the Sostenuto pedal in the middle — is played with the left foot. The Sustain pedal on the right is usually used most often: it lets notes ring out. The middle Sostenuto pedal sustains only notes that were already held down. The left Soft pedal reduces the volume of struck notes and produces a softer tonal character.
