Brass Sound In Bold Colors!
Good news for everyone who likes to take their wind instrument out on the town: the Classic Cantabile MardiBrass series has arrived! Fear of nasty tones from temperature swings and worries about dents after lively spontaneous sessions are finally a thing of the past. The indestructible instrument joins in on every bit of fun and, with its bright sound, guarantees top vibes at all those feel-good events where the unmistakable brass sound is essential.
Ultra-Lightweight For Heavy Gigs...
Kids, music students and wind heroes, listen up! The tuba from the Classic Cantabile MardiBrass range is an attractive instrument that's perfect for trying things out, invites experimentation, and gets pulled out without worry at occasions where the expensive brass model would rather stay in its case. Above all, the low weight makes the MardiBrass tuba the ideal student instrument!
"The Man With The Blue Tuba" Plays MardiBrass
Micha von der Rampe, aka "The Man With The Blue Tuba," has been doing his shows for some time on the MardiBrass plastic tuba. Whether at the "Dahoim Feschd" (his open-air in Brackenheim near Heilbronn), at the ski hut in Ischgl or at the Megapark in Mallorca — party animal and showman Micha always has his MardiBrass tuba in tow and, above all, in action.
Micha experiences his "blue miracle" on every stage and is enthusiastic: "For me it's the perfect tuba. It's light, an eye-catcher and virtually indestructible — even on the ski slope and in the roller coaster!"
Micha's verdict: "Both sonically and technically, for the price it's absolutely amazing. I'd buy this tuba again anytime!"
Features: Top-Notch!
If you think robustness and precision are contradictory, think again. The combination of the rugged plastic body with corrosion-resistant stainless steel valves and a brass leadpipe and valve section makes the Classic Cantabile MardiBrass a truly well-rounded instrument.
Perfect For Travel
MardiBrass instruments are so light they won't weigh you down during a move or on your next mountain tour. Their ruggedness also makes them ideal travel companions.
The ABS plastic tuba won't mind being left briefly on the beach while the band cools off in the water, and it easily survives long, merry, damp cabin nights.
Includes Gigbag And Mouthpiece
The lightweight instrument is supplied with a mouthpiece and, of course, the matching gigbag.
Tested Quality
So you can enjoy your instrument for a long time, all wind instruments are inspected by Kirstein quality control. This takes place in our master-led brass workshop by qualified instrument makers. We guarantee the flawless condition on a certificate that is included with the instrument.

And responds well. Nice instrument to inspire young people for tuba

The instrument is very damaged, but fortunately not the instrument.
Its main advantage is its light weight; in terms of sound, it is harder to play than my B&S Gr51.
But it's good enough for rehearsals.
Very nice, the slides are a bit sensitive, the silver coating leaves glitter on the pants (a nice effect).
For the included mouthpiece, you have to forget it and replace it immediately.
All in all, I am satisfied.
Variant Classic Cantabile KT-30MS MardiBrass Plastic Bb Tuba Matte Black
It is 3/4 size Bb tuba and it is smaller that I was expecting. Mechanically it is nicely done and all 4 valves works nicely and they are made like in real tubas.
The bag is very light and nicely done. There is a very long zip to close instrument bag. That might be a problem after a few years use.
The sound is ok, better than I expected, and valves work smoothly.
While playing in a military band you have to play quite loud to to get enough volume. This is compared to my other tuba which is big B&S.
I will use this tuba while practicing and when we have small gigs. This kind of use it is perfect for me. There is a good value for money.
I recommend this tuba also for juniors to be a first instrument.
Thank you
Jukka
