Brassy Sound in Vibrant Colors!
Good news for everyone who likes to take their brass instrument out and about: the Classic Cantabile MardiBrass series is here! Worries about unpleasant tones from temperature changes and concerns about dents after lively spontaneous sessions are now a thing of the past. This indestructible instrument joins in the fun and, with its bright sound, guarantees great vibes at all feel-good events where the unmistakable voice of a brass instrument is indispensable.
Super-Light for Heavy Duty Use...
Kids, music students and brass heroes, pay attention! The tuba from the Classic Cantabile MardiBrass range is an attractive instrument to experiment on, invites creative play and is the one you’ll happily pull out on occasions when the expensive brass model would rather stay in its case. Above all, the low weight makes the MardiBrass tuba the perfect student instrument!
"Der Mann mit der blauen Tuba" Plays MardiBrass
Micha von der Rampe, aka "Der Mann mit der blauen Tuba," has been performing for some time on the MardiBrass plastic tuba. Whether at the "Dahoim Feschd" (his open air in Brackenheim near Heilbronn), at the ski hut in Ischgl or in the Megapark on Mallorca — party animal and showman Micha always has his blue MardiBrass tuba with him and, most importantly, in use.
Micha von der Rampe experiences his "blue miracle" on every stage and is delighted: "For me it's the perfect tuba. It's light, an eye-catcher and virtually indestructible—even on the ski slope and on the roller coaster!"
Micha's verdict: "Both in sound and technically, for the price it's truly outstanding. I'd buy this tuba again anytime!"
Features: First-Rate!
So if you think robustness and precision are contradictory qualities, think again. The combination of a rugged plastic body with corrosion-resistant stainless steel valves and a brass leadpipe and valve casing makes the Classic Cantabile MardiBrass a really well-rounded package.
Perfect for On the Road
The MardiBrass instruments are so light that they won't weigh you down during a move or on your next mountain tour. Their toughness also makes them ideal travel companions.
The ABS plastic tuba won't mind being left briefly on the beach while the band cools off in the water, and it easily survives long, merry, wet hut evenings.
Includes Gigbag and Mouthpiece
The lightweight instrument comes with a mouthpiece and, of course, the matching gigbag.
Tested Quality
To ensure you enjoy your instrument for a long time, all brass instruments are checked by Kirstein's quality control. This is carried out in our master-led brass workshop by qualified instrument makers. We guarantee the flawless condition on a certificate that is included with the instrument.

So if you play classical music in small ensembles (or amplified in bands), this tuba is also suitable for gigs. And it's fun!

Variant Classic Cantabile KT-30MS MardiBrass Plastic Bb Tuba Matte Black
It is 3/4 size Bb tuba and it is smaller that I was expecting. Mechanically it is nicely done and all 4 valves works nicely and they are made like in real tubas.
The bag is very light and nicely done. There is a very long zip to close instrument bag. That might be a problem after a few years use.
The sound is ok, better than I expected, and valves work smoothly.
While playing in a military band you have to play quite loud to to get enough volume. This is compared to my other tuba which is big B&S.
I will use this tuba while practicing and when we have small gigs. This kind of use it is perfect for me. There is a good value for money.
I recommend this tuba also for juniors to be a first instrument.
Thank you
Jukka
