The characteristic tone and special charm of instruments from Bohemian production come from traditional manufacturing methods. This model stands out with clear intonation and good response, ideal for brass bands and players who value an authentic Bohemian sound in the flugelhorn register.

The Cerveny Flugelhorn CFH 702R is crafted from gold brass, which sounds softer and warmer than other materials. Nickel silver, used for the horn’s leadpipe, significantly extends the instrument’s lifespan, as the leadpipe is most prone to corrosion. The valve cluster (valve casings and ports) of the flugelhorn is also made of nickel silver – as is the rim on the bell.

Traditional Craftsmanship

The traditional production of the Cerveny CFH 702R flugelhorn forms the basis for its easy response and impressive tonal projection. The bell has a diameter of 160 mm, and the bore measures 11.1 mm.

High-Quality Components for Comfortable Playing

The valve cluster features Minibal® joints, ensuring perfect and reliable valve action. The rotary valves, like the valve casings, are manufactured on modern CNC machining centers and then hand-lapped (finely processed and smoothed).

The ergonomically positioned trigger lever with adjustable stopper on the 3rd valve slide allows comfortable pitch adjustment. The 2 water keys make handling the instrument easier. Plus, the pre-installed lyre holder means you’re ready to play anywhere, anytime.

The flugelhorn is delivered in a sturdy case and includes a silver-plated mouthpiece.
