The characteristic tone and special charm of instruments from Bohemian production come from traditional manufacturing methods. This model is distinguished by clear intonation and a responsive feel, making it ideal for brass bands and players who value an authentic Bohemian sound in the flugelhorn range.

The Cerveny CFH502R flugelhorn is constructed from brass. The leadpipe is made of nickel silver, which significantly extends the instrument's lifespan since the leadpipe is most susceptible to corrosion. The valve section (valve casings and valve outlets) is also crafted from nickel silver — as is the bell rim.

Traditional Manufacturing

The traditional build of the Cerveny CFH 502R is the foundation for its easy response and impressive projection. The bell has a diameter of 160 mm and the bore measures 11.1 mm.

High-Quality Components for Comfortable Playing

The valve mechanism features Minibal® joints, ensuring perfect and reliable valve action. The cylinder valves and valve casings are machined on modern CNC centers and then hand-lapped (finely finished and smoothed).

The ergonomically positioned trigger lever with an adjustable stopper on the 3rd valve slide lets you comfortably adjust pitch. The two water keys simplify handling. Additionally, the pre-mounted marching lyre holder means you're ready to play anywhere, immediately.

The flugelhorn is supplied in a sturdy case and includes a silver-plated mouthpiece.
