The FH-24GL Flugelhorn was introduced in 2024 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Lechgold brand as a special edition and the first Lechgold flugelhorn of German design.

The flugelhorn is carefully crafted in the tradition of excellent instruments from Bohemian production. This ensures good intonation and clear response – but above all the characteristic tonal color of a rotary valve flugelhorn, mainly used in music clubs, wind ensembles, and traditional brass music.

The Lechgold Anniversary Flugelhorn

The lacquered Lechgold FH-24GL offers the big yet focused sound so typical of a rotary valve flugelhorn. A trigger on the 3rd valve slide ensures clean intonation.

Flugelhorn and bell are made of high-quality gold brass, the slides of nickel silver. The bell diameter is 160 mm, the bore measures 10.5 mm.

The finger hook at bell height serves as the only support, achieving optimal vibration behavior of the instrument. With the pre-installed marching lyre holder, you’re ready to play anywhere immediately.

The flugelhorn is delivered in a practical lightweight case with backpack harness and includes a silver-plated mouthpiece.

With this flugelhorn, you get a high-quality brass instrument made in a multi-stage manufacturing process. Plus: the personal final inspection by an experienced brass instrument maker on site.

High-Quality Minibal Joints

The valve cluster is equipped with Minibal joints, guaranteeing perfect and reliable valve action. Developed in 1994 by Martin Seibold in upper Bavarian Dietramszell, the Minibal joint ensures precise, reliable, and silent rotary valve movement! This patented ball joint has proven itself over the past 30 years and is appreciated by amateurs and professionals alike!
