Classic Cantabile WS-10 - Full-Fledged Western Guitar in Dreadnought Format!

The Classic Cantabile WS-10 from the Western Series is a straightforwardly equipped 6-string western guitar for anyone seeking a classic dreadnought without added electronics. Its construction pairs a linden body with a maple fingerboard and a birch neck.

Large Body for Classic Western Guitar Feel

The dreadnought format is one of the typical body shapes for steel-string guitars. With an overall height of around 103 cm, a width of about 40 cm and roughly 12 cm depth, the WS-10 has full-sized dimensions. The top, back and sides are made of linden, creating a classic foundation for chord accompaniment, rhythmic strumming and picking arrangements.

64.5 cm Scale Length and Maple Fingerboard

The birch neck is glued to the body and carries a maple fingerboard. The fingerboard has a 12" (305 mm) radius and white dot position markers. The scale length is 64.5 cm (approx. 25.4"). A nut width of 43 mm provides typical western-guitar proportions. In total there are 20 frets available.

Classic Hardware Without Unnecessary Extras

The nut and saddle are made of plastic. White bridge pins with black dots secure the strings at the maple bridge. Open tuners complete the traditional appearance. The WS-10 features a 2-way truss rod for adjusting the neck relief, allowing the instrument to be set up for different demands.

Purely Acoustic Design

This WS-10 comes without a pickup, preamp or built-in tuner. It focuses entirely on acoustic performance and requires neither batteries nor cables. That makes it an uncomplicated instrument for lessons, home playing or shared acoustic sessions. The weight of approximately 1.9 kg keeps it comfortable to handle despite its classic dreadnought size.
