The Classic Cantabile WS-10 from the Western Series pairs the traditional dreadnought shape with a clean set of features and targets players who want a full-fledged 6-string western guitar for lessons, practice rooms, the living room or spontaneous acoustic sessions.

Classic Dreadnought Shape

With its large dreadnought body, the WS-10 follows one of the most recognisable western-guitar shapes. Top, back and sides are made from basswood. The construction provides a solid foundation for daily use and suits chord accompaniment, strumming and early picking techniques. With an overall height of about 103 cm (40.6 in) and a body width of around 40 cm (15.7 in), it presents itself as a fully grown western guitar.

Maple and Birch for Neck and Fingerboard

For the neck Classic Cantabile uses birch, while the fingerboard and bridge are crafted from maple. The neck is glued to the body. The 25.4" (64.5 cm) scale length delivers the familiar feel of a classic full-size western guitar. A nut width of 43 mm creates practical spacing between the six steel strings. The fingerboard radius is 12" (305 mm), and white dots serve as clear position markers. In total, 20 frets are available.

Practical Hardware

A 2-way truss rod allows adjustment of the neck relief to suit personal setup preferences. Nut and saddle are made from plastic. White plastic bridge pins with black dots secure the strings at the bridge, while open tuners complement the classic design. Binding and pickguard add functional accents to the body.

The WS-10 focuses entirely on its acoustic concept. It omits pickups, preamps and an integrated tuner.
