Classic Cantabile WS-10 - Classic Dreadnought for a Straightforward Start!

With the Classic Cantabile WS-10 from the Western Series you get a full-size 6-string western guitar in the traditional dreadnought format that focuses on the essential traits of an acoustic steel-string instrument.

Proven Dreadnought Concept

The large dreadnought body is one of the established shapes for western guitars and provides a lot of surface for powerful strumming as well as single-note picking. Classic Cantabile builds the top, back and sides of this model from linden. With roughly 103 cm overall height, about 40 cm width and around 12 cm body depth, this is a fully featured instrument in the classic western guitar format.

Fullsize Scale and 43 mm Nut

The neck is made of birch and glued to the body. The fingerboard is maple and has a 12" (305 mm) radius. White dots clearly mark the positions. The scale measures 64.5 cm (about 25.4 inches). That places the WS-10 in the familiar range of a full-size western guitar. The 43 mm nut width provides a practical foundation for chords and melodic lines. 20 frets are available.

Practical Hardware for Daily Use

The nut and saddle are made from plastic. The strings are secured at the maple bridge with white plastic bridge pins featuring black dots. Open tuners underscore the instrument's classic orientation. An integrated 2-way truss rod additionally allows you to adjust the neck relief if needed. Binding and pickguard round off the guitar's traditional equipment.

Purely Acoustic

This version omits pickups and a preamp. The WS-10 remains a purely acoustic western guitar without additional controls or power supply. That makes it an uncomplicated choice for lessons, rehearsals, home use or spontaneous sessions. At around 1.9 kg the instrument is also comfortable to handle.
