Set Up in Seconds

The E-208LAB consists of four components: subwoofer, 2 distance pieces, and a full-range line array speaker. These four parts simply slot together, with the signal for the tweeter passed through the distance pieces. The entire setup takes less than a minute!

For One or More

The column system offers an XLR and a jack input socket, where the input sensitivity can be set via a mic/line button. This allows you to operate a dynamic microphone and an instrument directly or bundle multiple signals via a mixer and pass them on to the E-208LAB.

Flexible Plug-in System

The E-208LAB can be used without, with one, or with both distance pieces. Whether you’re on an elevated stage, at the same height in front of seated or standing audiences, the E-208LAB perfectly adapts to the local conditions.

Independent from the Power Grid

The E-208LAB features a built-in, rechargeable lead battery with a capacity of 7000 mAh. This independence from mains power is a huge advantage, especially for street musicians or outdoor parties. When the subwoofer is connected to a power outlet, the battery automatically starts charging—no separate charger is needed. Five LEDs on the back inform you about the current charge level. Depending on volume, the battery life is a solid 4 to 8 hours!

Rich Sound

With an effective power of 100 watts (200 watts peak), the subwoofer with its 8" speaker and the total of 4 full-range speakers deliver an absolutely clear and powerful sound experience, resulting in strong bass, high speech intelligibility, and a balanced sound image. Thanks to the extremely wide dispersion angle, even audiences located to the side of the speaker fully enjoy the sound. Due to the vertical arrangement of the speakers, volume decreases much less with distance than with conventional systems, resulting in very homogeneous sound distribution throughout the room.

The small full-range speakers can react very quickly to the input signals due to their low mass, which leads to significantly less distortion and harmonic distortion of the original sound compared to typical multi-way boxes. Also, in the critical frequency range for many instruments and especially vocals and speech, no frequency separation occurs, which inevitably leads to further sound distortions and often irregularities in dispersion behavior. Thus, the overall sound is much more natural and pleasant than common multi-way speakers, which is especially noticeable with voices and all acoustic instruments.

Built-In Media Player with Bluetooth®

On the back of the subwoofer is the system’s control panel, which includes a full media player. It doesn’t matter whether music files are on USB or SD. Of course, any conventional playback device (e.g., smartphone or laptop) can also be connected to the system via the aux input. For wireless streaming, the E-208LAB also offers a Bluetooth® receiver. Connecting the system via Bluetooth® to a second optional E-208LAB system even provides wireless true wireless stereo sound.

Expandable Anytime

Whether you connect a microphone directly to the PA or the signal comes from a mixer – with the line out you can pass your signal to additional column systems. Depending on the event size, this ensures even more even sound distribution.

Skip the Monitoring

Since the E-208LAB is extremely feedback-resistant, it can easily be placed behind the performers. This saves additional monitor speakers and thus space, time, money, and weight. And it looks much better too.
