Set Up In Seconds

The E-208LAB consists of four components: the subwoofer, two spacer pieces and a full-range line-array column. These four parts simply plug into one another, with the signal for the high-frequency driver routed through the spacer pieces. The entire setup takes less than a minute!

For One Or More

The column system offers both an XLR and a jack input, with input sensitivity selectable via a Mic/Line switch. That makes it possible to run a dynamic microphone and an instrument directly, or to combine multiple signals via a mixer and feed them into the E-208LAB.

Flexible Plug-In System

The E-208LAB can be operated without, with one, or with both spacer pieces. Whether you're on a raised stage, at floor level with seated audience or standing listeners, the E-208LAB adapts perfectly to the local conditions.

Independent From Mains Power

The E-208LAB features a built-in, rechargeable lead-acid battery with a capacity of 7000 mAh. This independence from mains power is a huge advantage for street musicians and outdoor parties. When the subwoofer is connected to a power outlet, the battery begins charging automatically—no separate charger is required. Five LEDs on the rear indicate the current charge level. Depending on volume, runtime is a solid 4 to 8 hours!

Powerful Sound

With an effective output of 100 Watts (200 Watts peak), the subwoofer with its 8" driver and the four full-range speakers deliver an absolutely clear and powerful sonic experience, resulting in deep bass, high speech intelligibility and a balanced tonal image. Thanks to the extremely wide dispersion angle, audience members positioned to the side of the speaker also benefit fully. Because the drivers are arranged vertically, volume falls off much less with distance than with conventional systems, producing a very homogeneous sound distribution throughout the room.

The small full-range speakers react very quickly to incoming signals due to their low mass, which results in significantly less coloration and distortion of the original sound compared to typical multi-way boxes. Also, in the critical frequency range for many instruments—and especially for vocals and speech—there is no frequency splitting that would inevitably lead to additional coloration and often irregularities in dispersion behavior. The overall sound is therefore much more natural and pleasant than that of common multi-way speakers, which is particularly noticeable with voices and acoustic instruments.

Integrated Media Player With Bluetooth

On the rear of the subwoofer you'll find the control panel with a full media player. It doesn't matter whether music files are on USB or SD. Of course any conventional playback device (e.g. smartphone or laptop) can also be connected via the aux input. For wireless streaming, the E-208LAB also offers a Bluetooth receiver. If you pair the system via Bluetooth with a second, optional E-208LAB, you even get wireless True Wireless stereo sound.

Expandable At Any Time

Whether you connect a microphone directly to the PA or the signal comes from a mixer—with the Line Out you forward your signal to additional column systems. Depending on the size of the event, this ensures an even more uniform sound distribution.

Skip The Monitors

Because the E-208LAB is extremely feedback-resistant, it can easily be placed behind the performers. That saves you additional monitor speakers and therefore space, time, money and weight. And it looks much better, too.
