Set Up in Seconds

The E-208LAB consists of four components: a subwoofer, 2 spacer sections and a full-range line-array speaker. These four parts simply plug into each other, with the signal for the high-frequency driver routed through the spacer sections. The entire setup takes less than a minute!

For One or Several

The column system offers an XLR and a 1/4" jack input, where input sensitivity can be set via a Mic/Line switch. This allows you to run a dynamic microphone and an instrument directly, or to combine multiple signals through a mixer and feed them to the E-208LAB.

Flexible Plug-In System

The E-208LAB can be operated without, with one, or with both spacer sections. Depending on whether you're on a raised stage, at the same level as seated audience, or facing standing listeners, the E-208LAB adapts perfectly to the local conditions.

Independent From Mains Power

The E-208LAB has a fixed, rechargeable lead-acid battery with a capacity of 7000 mAh. This independence from mains power is a huge advantage for street musicians and outdoor parties. When the subwoofer is connected to a wall outlet, the battery starts charging automatically—no separate charger is required. Five LEDs on the rear indicate the current charge level. Depending on volume, the battery life is a solid 4 to 8 hours!

Rich Sound

With an effective output of 100 watts (200 watts peak), the subwoofer with its 8" speaker and the four full-range drivers deliver an absolutely clear and powerful sonic experience, producing strong bass, high speech intelligibility and a balanced sound. Thanks to the extremely wide dispersion angle, audience members to the sides of the speakers also get full benefit. Because the drivers are arranged vertically, volume drops off much less with distance than with conventional systems, resulting in a very homogeneous sound distribution throughout the room.

Because of their low mass, the small full-range drivers can respond very quickly to incoming signals, which leads to considerably less coloration and harmonic distortion of the original sound compared to typical multi-way boxes. Likewise, in the critical frequency range for many instruments—and especially vocals and speech—there is no frequency crossover that would inevitably cause additional sonic distortions and often irregularities in dispersion behavior. As a result, the overall sound is significantly more natural and pleasant than that of common multi-way speakers, which is especially noticeable with voices and acoustic instruments.

Integrated Media Player With Bluetooth

The control panel is located on the rear of the subwoofer and includes a full media player. It doesn't matter whether music files are on USB or SD. Of course, any conventional playback device (e.g. smartphone or laptop) can also be connected via the aux input. For wireless streaming, the E-208LAB also offers a Bluetooth receiver. Pairing the unit via Bluetooth with a second optional E-208LAB system even gives you wireless True Wireless stereo sound.

Easily Expandable

Whether you connect a microphone directly to the PA or the signal comes from a mixer—with the Line Out you route your signal to additional column systems. Depending on the size of the event, this provides even more uniform sound distribution.

Skip the Monitoring

Because the E-208LAB is extremely feedback resistant, it can be positioned behind performers without problems. This eliminates the need for additional monitor speakers—saving space, time, money and weight. And it looks much better, too.
