Professional PA sound with controlled bass!
The LD Systems MAUI 44 G3 Black is a fully active 4-way cardioid column speaker system for the stage, DJs and event production. Its compact combination of a speaker column and 15" subwoofer delivers 1,800 watts RMS, 3,600 watts peak power and a maximum SPL of 133 dB. This black column PA focuses on powerful music reproduction and straightforward signal connectivity; an integrated audio mixer is deliberately not included.
High-resolution mids and powerful bass
The 15" neodymium woofer is housed in an airflow-optimized bass-reflex enclosure and delivers bass response down to 34 Hz at -10 dB. The two-piece column unit features 14 x 3.5" neodymium midrange drivers and 4 x 1" compression tweeters. Waveguides and phase plugs work together to deliver even mids and highs. Horizontal coverage is 120°, and vertical coverage is 25°.
Cardioid column for targeted sound dispersion
The passive cardioid design reduces sound behind the column speaker by up to 18 dB. This is especially useful on stages with microphones and monitor speakers. An additional MAUI 44 G3 subwoofer can be connected for extra bass headroom or a cardioid bass configuration. Second-generation DynX DSP and carefully tuned limiters ensure reliable signal processing at high levels.
Audio inputs and Bluetooth 5.4
Two XLR/jack combo inputs are available for integration into existing sound systems. Two XLR thru sockets and a sub output expand the connection options. Bluetooth 5.4 with AAC, SBC and aptX support is built in for wireless music playback. An external mixing console or DJ mixer can handle the input sources, while the internal Class D power amplifier drives the PA system’s four ways.
Quick setup and durable materials
The two powder-coated aluminum column elements plug directly into the subwoofer and are recognized automatically. The birch plywood enclosure, with its polyurea finish and four ergonomic handles, is designed for regular transport. Its black finish suits classic stage equipment and event installations. This active column PA combines solid construction, high output and easy handling.
