Powerful column PA in elegant white!
The LD Systems MAUI 44 G3 White is an active 4-way column PA system for DJs, bands, and professional events. This white column speaker system delivers 1,800 watts RMS, 3,600 watts peak, and a maximum SPL of 133 dB. A 15" bass-reflex unit, a two-piece speaker column, and directional cardioid dispersion combine powerful full-range sound with a neat, compact setup. This version does not include an integrated mixer.
15" woofer and powerful column array
The 15" neodymium woofer in the subwoofer extends down to 34 Hz at -10 dB for powerful bass. The two column elements house 14 x 3.5" neodymium midrange drivers and 4 x 1" compression drivers for the highs. Waveguides, phase plugs, and horn-loaded midrange drivers help deliver clear reproduction of speech, vocals, and music. Coverage is 120° horizontal and 25° vertical.
Targeted sound reinforcement with cardioid technology
The column's passive cardioid design reduces rearward sound radiation by up to 18 dB. This sends less sound toward the stage while providing even coverage for the audience. The system can be expanded for more bass with an additional, separately available MAUI 44 G3 subwoofer. The integrated Class D amplifier features second-generation DynX DSP and electronic protection functions.
Bluetooth and straightforward connections
Two XLR/1/4" combo inputs accept external audio signals. There are also two XLR thru outputs and a separate sub output. Bluetooth 5.4 enables wireless music streaming with the supported AAC, SBC, and aptX codecs. With no digital mixer built in, the system is especially well suited to setups with an existing mixer or DJ controller. Frequency and level processing are handled by the integrated speaker DSP.
White design for professional events
The aluminum column connects to the subwoofer via a wireless plug-in connection and is detected automatically. Durable birch plywood, a Polyurea coating, and four carrying handles make it easy to take on the road. The light cabinet color is especially discreet at weddings, corporate events, and in prestigious venues. You get a fully active PA system for professional live sound, without an additional integrated mixer.
