Velocity-Sensitive Pads

Like an acoustic drum kit, the digital drums respond to the drummer’s strike intensity. As the strike gets stronger, not only does the volume change, but the sound evolves just like on an acoustic drum set. All “acoustic” sounds have two sample layers, so for example, the attack of a tom increases with volume. The hi-hat sounds even have 3 layers (closed, half-open, and open).

Mesh Heads

These special woven heads are ideal for e-drums and provide an extremely authentic response. Compared to conventional rubber pads, mesh heads deliver an unmatched playing feel and realistic rebound. The trigger signal is optimally transmitted to the sound module, ensuring nuanced, dynamic play. The XDrum DD-460 offers three tom pads and one snare pad, each with an 8-inch diameter.

Module Features

With 25 preset kits, you get a fast and practical selection of sounds covering everything from rock/pop to percussion and electronic tones. The metronome helps you solidify your timing, while the built-in songs let you express your emotions freely. If the onboard songs don’t suit your taste, you can connect your smartphone or tablet via the aux input and play along to your personal mix.

Special Features of the DD-460C

Unlike the 460P, the 460C includes a kick drum controller, and the snare pad only responds to hits on the head. The cymbals do not have a choke function.
