XDrum singing bowls are made with painstaking handcraft from 7 materials. This alloy consists of the metals copper, zinc, iron, nickel, aluminum, silver, and gold. The exact composition can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. To achieve the final shape and individual sound, the alloy is hammered over a fire into the desired form. It is often heated and cooled up to 30 times.

Unlike machine-made singing bowls, the handmade XDrum models are unique pieces. Some tolerance in diameter and weight of the bowl is normal and does not represent a quality defect.
