I always turn thick mallets upside down when they are not in use, as I work with different mallets at the same time.
So I had to grind down the poorly polished mallet by hand so that I could use it comfortably.
Otherwise it is very good, the leather does not rub off as quickly as with other mallets.

I highly recommend buying it, but other buyers may have the same problem and have to file it down with a large wooden file.
