Weighted Hammer Keyboard with Touch Sensitivity
The weighted keyboard of the DP-18 with real hammer action simulates as authentically as possible for the pianist the playing feel of an acoustic piano with traditional mechanics. The 88 keys feature a certain, "natural" resistance when pressed down, as is the case with classic acoustic pianos. The keyboard is also touch sensitive, meaning the tones sound louder or softer depending on how hard a key is pressed. To reliably protect the keyboard from dust, the DP-18 includes a keyboard cover.
128-Note Polyphony

Metronome and Headphone Jacks

The "Soft", "Sostenuto" and "Sustain" Pedals

The soft pedal is on the left and is played with the left foot, as is the sostenuto pedal in the middle. The sustain pedal on the right is usually used most often.
