Weighted Hammer-Action Keyboard With Touch Sensitivity
The DP-18's weighted keyboard with genuine hammer action authentically simulates the feel of an acoustic piano with traditional mechanics. The 88 keys provide a certain "natural" resistance when pressed, just as on classic acoustic pianos. The keyboard is also touch-sensitive, meaning notes play back at different volumes depending on how hard you press a key. To keep the keyboard reliably protected from dust, the DP-18 includes a key cover.
128-Note Polyphony

Metronome and Headphone Jacks
To help you keep the right beat and tempo while practicing, the DP-18 includes an integrated metronome. Both the tempo and the metronome volume can be adjusted as desired. The DP-18 also features two headphone jacks. These ensure you can practice and play anytime without disturbing, for example, your neighbors. The "Soft", "Sostenuto" and "Sustain" Pedals

The soft pedal is on the left and—like the sostenuto pedal in the middle—is played with the left foot. The sustain pedal on the right is usually used most often: it lets all notes ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal only sustains notes that were already held.
